  • Dr. Mike gets shot by a man who is avenging his wife's death by killing doctors in the area. Michaela recovers, but has to deal with the haunting dreams of her near death experience.

I think that "Point Blank" could quite possibly be the best episode in the entire series. The writers decided to twist the typical storyline by making Dr. Quinn the patient, instead of her typical role as caregiver. Jane Seymour does a phenomenal acting job, and episodes like this show off her amazing talent. There was an intense emotion in every scene that made it very hard to remember that this was make believe, and the Jane seymour didn't really get shot, nor was she truly suffering from those haunting memories. It is standout episodes like this one that are proof of why Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman was as good as it was.
  • Dramatic!

Dr Quinn is shot point blank and suffers mentally and physically.

Not only is the beginning of the episode a complete rush, the rest of the it just keeps getting better. It examines the mental after math of being shot, and Jane Seymour does an amazing job. You really feel her paranoia and how terrified she is.

Plus Sully and Hank are so great in this episode. Normally I don't like Hank very much, but I loved how he rushed to Michaela's aid. It just shows he really isn't all bad, he can be a good guy.

    An Amazing Episode! Watch it!
