Oh yeah because it's Christmas and this time of the year means to be with your family and show the joy. This special is truly a Christmas classic and I love to watch it every year. Oh course, the song "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" came from this special. I really love that song by the way, it is very catchy and gets stuck in my head. The Grinch discovering the true meaning of Christmas was also very cute. Also, you gotta love the dog with the reindeer antlers. Overall, a Christmas classic for everyone to enjoy. 10/10moreless

"Fawho dores fawho dores, welcome Christmas bring you light...etc" Yes, I remember the songs from Chuck Jone's cartoon version of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stoled Christmas.

Yup, this is most deffinatley a classic tale about the Grinch who hated Christmas and the sounds of Whos laughing and caring about each other. I remember seeing this show as a little boy and it's still on TV...WOW! It's just so amazing how a 50 (56?) year old cartoon can still be entertaining.

The story is basicly about the Grinch who lived on top of a moutain that cringes and grinds his teeth when he hears the laughter and joy of the Whos down in Whovill. The Grinch decides to dress like St. Nick and steal the Whos decerations, gifts, foods, even the last can of Who Hash. After he dose this, the Grinch gose high up to the moutains and trys to hear the Whos cry and weep... but insted, he hears the happiness and joyful song the Whos sing which touches the Grinches heart and turns him into a better person. The Grinch returns all of the things he stold and ends with the Grinch with the Whos having a Christmas dinner, eating the Roast Beast......*sigh* such a story :).

The meanings in here go out strong, Christmas dosn't come from a store, it comes from everyones heart and happiness. I give this classical cartoon a 7.5 out of 10.moreless
  • How the Grinch Stole Christmas is one of the best-told tales about the true meaning of the spirit of Christmas as any sermon you'll ever hear during the season.

The one and only How the Grinch Stole Christmas. No, really, that live action movie simply does not count. Accept no substitutes, folks. This is the classic tale by the wonderful Dr. Seuss (pronounced "Soyce" acccording to Harlan Ellison, and I don't know about you, but I'm not going to argue with Harlan about it) gloriously brought to life in a way that live-action could never do justice. (Nothing against Jim Carrey; I'm a fan. It's just the live-action version was completely unnecessary.) Directed by the awesome Chuck Jones (known also for directing classic Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry).moreless
