Gentlemen inventor Nathan Blaze is dinning out with his best friend and his smokin hot daughter.
He notices one of the waiters at the Chinese restaurant has a strange tattoo.Could he be a hench men for the long thought dead hang man chan?
They are assaulted upon leaving the lime street eatery and smokin hot daughter is kidnapped by the "yellow devils".
Can Blaze save her and overcome his addiction to opiates?

One of the better episodes of the show
does require a knowledge of the source material being parodied to appreciate fully.
Chan himself played by the league of gentlemen's mark gatiss is superb as the inscrutable Chinese super-villain.His make up is pretty bad and it never convinces but I think that's the point .
The exchanges between chan and blaze are the funniest part of the show and the parts to watch out for.Coogan has stated that the back story between blaze and chang was that they were one time lovers?
put a whole different complexion on the episodemoreless

    • This story is a parody of the Fu Manchu films. Nathan Blaze is a cross between Adam Adamant and Jason King. Talon Street and Mr Sin, the restaurant owner, are names from Doctor Who story The Talons of Weng-Chiang. The villain, Hang Man Chang (played by The League of Gentleman actor/Doctor Who writer/fan Mark Gatiss) bears a resemblance to Li H'sen Chang, one of the villains from "Talons". In the story, there was a giant rat in the sewers but here a giant crab is substituted for the giant rat (hence another Doctor Who story The Macra Terror).
