Yamcha, Tien and Chiaotzu continue their training on Kai's world and struggle with their assignments against Bubbles and Gregory. However, Piccolo, finds Kai's methods foolish and refuses to participate, but finds himself in a bind when King Kai has him spar against the other three. Meanwhile, Frieza orders Zarbon to recover and revive Vegeta.moreless

This episode is one of the best. Vegeta escapes from the rejuvenation chamber, killing Appule, stealing Frieza's dragonballs, and rendering a problematic situation for Zarbon. Frieza sends Zarbon after Vegeta though Vegeta already has the upper hand and has stolen all the dragonballs from the ship. On the boring side of this episode, Piccolo trains with Tien, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu, apparently losing when fighting all three of them at the same time, though being able to take them out separately. They continue to train, though it doesn't play a significant storyline impact in the namekian era. The excitement level in this episode comes from Vegeta's escape and Frieza and Zarbon's anger.moreless

In Space, Goku still struggles with adapting to 50G's, while Yamcha, Tienshinhan, and Chioutzu all struggle with the gravity of King Kais planetoid. King Kai offers them food, and after a hearty meal, they all three manage to catch Bubbles with no trouble at all. King Kai then introduced them to Gregory, and they all struggle to hold the sledgehammer. King Kai goes to take a nap while they still try to whack Gregory. On Namek, Zarbon still monitors Vegeta's recovery status.
