This episode is one of the greatest. Most likely, the 2nd greatest in my opinion. It shows the beginning of Zarbon and Vegeta's battle ending with Zarbon telling him that he has yet to release his full scale power. The episode ends with massive anticipation and edge of your seat action. The power of Zarbon shall be revealed in the following episode, which is the greatest in my opinion. This episode is the perfect set-up for the upcoming episode. It serves a good purpose and it's a well written episode. Vegeta's lesson in pain is about to begin and this episode accomplishes the fear factor quite well. Zarbon's villainy is well portrayed, which makes Vegeta look like nothing.moreless

Goku tells Yamcha what is going on on Namek, and when he mentions the person stronger than Vegeta, king kai makes sure it isn't Frieza, but much to his surprise, it is. King Kai demands that Goku stay away from Frieza at all costs. Goku's Saiyans instinct tells him that he should fight, but King Kai commands him otherwise.
