A Collision Course
AIRED:
Vegeta finds a village containing a Namekian Dragon Ball. He only needs the one to derail Frieza's plans, so he is quite thrilled about this development. The villagers unsurprisingly aren't, however. When they resist, Vegeta makes them regret it. Meanwhile, Goku's ship is about to enter a deadly part of space. Goku's survival depends on Dr. Briefs' instructions to the letter and as quickly as possible.moreless

  • Goku has to fix a hole in his ship. Vegeta takes a Dragonball.

Goku has to fix a hole in his ship. Vegeta takes a Dragonball.

Nothing much happens this episode. The time is wasted where Goku has to fix a hole in his ship and gets stuck by the glue that he used to fix the hole. He is about to crash in a star but uses the Kaioken technique to save himself. (It is shown that he can use Kaioken x20 now, though that may be filler).

Vegeta begins his search for the Dragonballs and using his new senses manage to find a village not yet touched by Freiza. He makes way with the Nameks and destroys them all and takes the Dragonball. He hides it in a lake.

That's all that really happens, and nothing much with Gohan's gang.

    SCORE: Freiza - 5 Dragonballs Vegeta - 1 Dragonball Gohan/Krillin - 0 Dragonball

  • Above average.

Goku\'s ship ran into an asteroid field, and received some damage. Due to this, a hole was created that caused his ship to go out of orbit. It was heading towards a star! Goku tries fixing it, but encounters some trouble. He steps on the glue, unabling him to get out of his position. Goku uses his Kamehameha wave in order to push him back to his original course. Back in Namek, Vegeta decides to head towards the next Namek village in order to steal a Dragon Ball off of Frieza so he\'ll be unable to grant his wish. He annihilates every Namek there, and throws the Dragon Ball in the pond so no one can find it.

An average episode all around that wasn\'t really boring. Even the first half, which had Goku fixing the hole on the surface of his ship, kept a small portion of my interest; but enough to not make me tired and fall asleep. The second half though takes the cake. Vegeta showing off his badassness=win. Even though I\'m a biased Namek fan, badass beats out bias, and Vegeta wins. Seriously though, just an average episode. Though I liked Dende\'s story on Namek before it turned out crappy.moreless
