Call For Restoration
AIRED:
Piccolo and the Spice Boys are unrelenting and seem unstoppable. Krillin and Gohan need some help, and the closest kind is from the captured Kami and Mr. Popo. Freeing them certainly wouldn't hurt. While Gohan keeps fighting, Krillin takes a risk that brings him up close and personal with Garlic Junior. Unfortunately, Piccolo beats him back. By the time the dust settles, Krillin is also infected with the Black Water Mist and Gohan is on his own. He refuses to give up, but he may not have a choice.moreless

  • it could've been better if goku vegeta and trunks were in it

Gohan continues to take a beating from Piccolo, while Krillin tries to free Kami and Mr. Popo. But he too is infected by the Black Water Mist, leaving Gohan the only hope for the Earth. It seems that there is no way Garlic Jr. can be defeated, but when Garlic Jr drops his guard and attempts to finish off Gohan, Piccolo grabs the bottles containing the pint sized Kami and Mr. Popo. He then reveals that the black water mist had no effect on him, and that he and Krillin were only pretending. The odds have improved, but the battle is far from over.moreless

  • All the time in the world is always wasted in Dragonball Z.

    6.5
Gohan is emotionally set back because of Piccolo's conversion to Garlic Jr's side. He continues to receive a hard beating. Krillin tries using the essence of confusion to his advantage by trying to sneak up on Garlic Jr., but he wasn't caught off guard. Soon, Piccolo got a hold of Krillin, and got him infected as well. Gohan just about had enough as Krillin is also fighting against him. Piccolo was about to deliver the final blow, until Garlic Jr. personally stops him. That's when he took the chance to recover Mr. Popo and Kami.

Very repetitive episode. It was basically entirely comprised of fighting that should have been shorter than it was. There was really no substance to all this fighting, and you wonder to yourself when something decent was going to come along. Fortunately, it did, but it was quite late as it came two minutes before the episode's end. That short scene with Maron, Korin, and Yajirobe, acted like comic relief sequence, and after the repetitive beating of Gohan from Piccolo, it served its purpose well.moreless
  • Gohan fights Piccolo...and no matter how much Piccolo hits him, he won't fight back because he is his best friend. But he'll have to see past all that and realise that he's not fighting Piccolo, but the thing that made him this way...moreless

I like this episode because, well, its Gohan and Piccolo for kami's sake! I find this episode painful to watch because I hate to see them fighting. I'd prefer the Gohan is suffering part because I find it quite amusing...he, he, he...anyways, I found the Piccolo biting Krillin part a bit gross because Piccolo was, er, groaning. But then Krillin turned into a vampire creature, ha ha ha! How did they do it?! The whole Krillin and Piccolo are possessed thing was all just an act. I thought the end part was funny! I kinda feel sorry for Gohan coz he's just a kid and he got the hell beat out of him by his two best friends!moreless
  • GOKU IS NOT THERE

Piccolo holds Gohan by the head and immediately begins to beat the hell out of him. Gohan tries to fight back, but to no avail. Piccolo throws Gohan around like a rag doll until the two remaining Demons declare that it is their turn to fight Gohan. Piccolo ignores their orders and continues to fight Gohan anyway. Meanwhile, Kuririn gets up and spies on Garlic long enough so that Garlic sets down the orb containing Kami-sama. Kuririn dashes toward Garlic, but Garlic throws up a barrier before Kuririn gets there, stopping him dead in his tracks. Garlic says that he wouldn't allow Kami-sama to be stolen from him so easily, and kicks at Kuririn so that he cannot attack. Garlic knocks Kuririn down and says that it is his turn to die, but Kuririn sees running to kill Gohan, so he jumps in and gets grabbed by Piccolo instead. Piccolo bites Kuririn in the back of the neck and throws him down. Gohan and Piccolo take their fight further into the Temple, and Piccolo splits into three in order to knock Gohan around easier. Piccolo throws Gohan through the roof so that he appears right in front of Garlic's throne. Garlic says that he should thank Piccolo for making him fortunate enough to actually get to lay eyes on the Ultra Holy Water before his torturous death. Gohan tries to advance, but the Demons stop him saying that it is a restricted area.
