  • Finally we get to see a fight after three episodes of not much action.

    8.9
The fight begins between Android 18 and Vegeta. In the beginning of the battle 17 says that Vegeta is stronger than was originally thought. But he believes 18 will still win. Android 18 then flys off leading Vegeta to different areas where they fight. Eventually they get back to where they started the fight. Soon Piccolo, Trunks, Krillin, and Tien arrive at the scene of the battle. Vegeta doesn't want any help from them and says he will fight alone. Android 17 says that he'll agree to stay on the sidelines as long as the Z fighters don't interfere either. As Vegeta and 18 continue to fight Piccolo says that Vegeta can't fight at this intensity for much longer as he is using up his energy while 18 still remains strong. Soon Vegeta realizes that the android has been toying with him the whole time. Not long after this Android 18 breaks Vegeta's arm with a kick. When Trunks sees the condition his father is in he heads in to interfere.

This was a great episode because we finally got to see a fight involving the new androids. Thankfully the battle between 18 and Vegeta took up the majority of the episode. It was also nice that a bit of comedy was included in the episode. This would be the segment involving Yajirobe, and also the one with Master Roshi. My only complaint is that I wish the fight had lasted a bit longer than one episode.moreless

These guys fight these other guys then at the end it leaves you hanging. I guess I'll have to wait for another exciting adventure of Dragonball Z! *End credits and music*

  • Ouch Vegeta!!

    8.7
Vegeta and 18 begin their fight. Vegeta and 18 seem quite well matched until 18 tells him hes toying with him and attaks Vegeta still manages to hold her back doing effective damage. The others want to help but 17 doesnt allow them to. Vegeta attack eighteen with all hes got and gives affective damage to 18. But eighteen is back having lost none of her energy. THen she goes all out and humiliates vegeta and nearly kills him. Trunks and the others rush to the help.moreless
  • Vegeta begins his fight with Android 18, and at first it seems he\'s pretty evenly matched, but we soon find out that she was only playing with him until his energy ran out.moreless

I really liked this episode, not only because we finally get to see more good fight scenes, but also because there are a number of acts which could lead to some nice character development. We get to see how Trunks struggles inwardly with the desire to save his father; that he still sees something in him, despite Vegeta\'s seemingly selfish, arrogant attitude. In this, we see some of Trunk\'s personality.

Also, Vegeta is about to find out that while he may be a great asset in a fight, he cannot do it alone. He\'ll find out that no matter how powerful one becomes, there are always moments when they\'ll need a friend to help them out. I think we can look forward to some good character development on his part in upcoming episodes.

The ending was very nice; a cliffhanger. Looks like we\'ll get to see Android 17 in action soon, as well as some more of Trunks. We haven\'t seen him in action since he annihilated Freiza and his father. Maybe he has a few tricks up his sleeve, since he has fought the androids in the future.moreless
  • Finally something semi good.

    7.8
Vegeta is in a raging battle with Android 18. It seems the two were on equal planes, but 18 decided to use all of her energy. From then on, it was 18's battle to win. The other Z Fighters came, back 17 promised he wouldn't join in if they don't as well. However, after 18 broke Vegeta's arm, Trunks came to his aid.

Still cluttered with unnecessary filler, but a better episode than the past couple ones. The fight was pretty interesting, and it's great to see Vegeta having his pride being shot down. Thought it was pretty gruesome seeing his arm being practically destroyed like that by 18. The highway scene with the fight involving the cars was a mix of entertainment and amusement.moreless
