  • A bit of improvement

The spiceboys and garlic jr. are more powerful now that they are using the makyo star for there power. The three attack. GOhan and Krillen vs. the spice boys and Piccolo against garlic jr. Krillen quickly gets overwhelmed but thanks to that Gohan unleashed his hidden powers and gave the spice boys the old 1 2. But PIccolo was losing his power due to KAmi.
  • Piccolo is badass, that is all.

Thanks to the Makio star, the goonies gotten bigger and stronger. Krillin was overwhelmed, but thanks to that, Gohan was able to draw rage from his inner self and use it to multiply his power, destroying the last two spice boys. Kami and Mr. Popo were fighting their way through the trials within the lookout. Piccolo was doing a good job against Garlic Jr., but due to Kami exhausting his powers, Piccolo suffered as well. Gohan had to come in.

Bring back the canon, fast. This entire arc proves why Dragonball Z isn't just a mindless mayhem of fighting and destruction. It's just lacking in substance, and what you're seeing in this episode is just literally, mindless mayhem of fighting and destruction. There's only fighting, that's all. Dragonball Z is great for its fight, but in this crappy filler arc, there's no substance to justify its watch.
