Episode Summary

EDIT
The great dangers looming across Namek require two others to help out. Thanks to Guru, Dende has the power to heal, and he leaves to go help Krillin and Gohan. Nail faces a more difficult time, as he is the only thing standing between the approaching Frieza and the elder Guru. Frieza will do anything to acquire the password to the Namekian Dragon Balls, as Nail soon finds out. The only thing he can really do is delay him. Goku, by far, experiences a much easier time with Captain Ginyu.moreless

  • Poor NAil

Goku shows Ginyu his power level is 180,000 in Kaioken stage! Ginyu seems like he goes crazy because he laughs and punches himself in the stomach making a fatal wound! Mean while the ruthless freeza approaches Guru and NAil must stand up to Freeza to save the elder Namek Guru!
  • Poor Namek kids.

    7.4
Ginyu is amazed at how Goku continues to rise in level when he's already at a high power level. He tries interfering with Goku's powering up, but his aura simply blows all the incoming attacks away. Goku is now well above Ginyu's status, and it's clear who the stronger figther is. However, Goku, intimidating his opponents, gives him the opportunity to leave the place before he starts pounding heads. Ginyu believes that he still has a chance to win. Meanwhile, as Bulma cruises around, she comes by an already destroyed Namek village. Gohan and Krillin go chasing her for the dragon radar. Frieza arrived at Guru's place. Guru gave Dende new powers to help aid the earhtlings in their battle. Nail does battle with Frieza, but three other Namek warriors come. They were all however, easily defeated by Frieza. Frieza then breaks in the house of Guru, and demands the password out of him.

Sad episode. Seeing villages slaughtered always touches my heart, especially when little village children are among those corpses. A little on the disappointing side in terms of fighting, because all it was was a one sided fight between Frieza and those Nameks, and some more powering up by Goku while Ginyu goes crazy all over the place and Jeice continuing to knock on Canadians by saying "eh?". Average episode, but like most of the other episodes in the past and future, more could have been accomplished. It's not like nothing has happened in these episodes; just that not enough has happened. What I'm saying in short like I've been saying in my past episode reviews for Dragonball Z; drags out. So there really isn't much to talk about in these reviews, unless I go on ranting how Krillin's previous voice actor is much better than his current one.moreless

Goku incredibly raises his power from 110,000 to 180,000 instantly. Ginyu flips out and dives underwater. When he comes out, he grabs an enormous boulder and hurls it at Goku, who stops it with his energy. Ginyu assaults Goku with several energy blasts, which Goku also deflects on energy alone. Elsewhere, Bulma comes upon one of the villages that was destroyed and considers changing her wish. Gohan and Krillin finally arrive at Bulma's inlet and ransack the place looking for the Radar. Gohan notices her Jet-Bike tracks and they decide to pursue her. Elsewhere, Nail arrives back at Gurus house and states that his first duty is to protect Guru, and knew that helping the Earthlings would be a jinx. Guru agrees and calls Dende to his side. He unleashes Dende's latent capabilities and sends him to assist the Earthlings by giving them the password to the Dragon Balls. Dende and Frieza pass each other on the way out, but Frieza leaves him alone.
