  • Gohan experiences life as a normal youth by going to high school.

This is the first episode of Dragon Ball Z that I've ever seen and I saw this a few weeks to a month ago. This episode was pretty funny while at the same time vaguely showing the real-life situation of trying to fit in at high school. One of the funniest moments of this episode was when one of the teachers commented that unlike the other students, he actually knows how to read. Gohan's attempts at playing a sport was also funny; especially since he is a right-handed character and he was standing on the side of home plate that was for left-handed players. All in all, this is a good episode.moreless
  • Awesome filler.

    8.5
Gohan experiences his first day as a high school student, and he starts it off by saving a bank from your everyday robbers. Videl, the daughter of Hercule, catches him on the scene, and coincidentally, attends the same highschool. Throughout the day, Videl's suspicion of Gohan grows and grows even more, that she even resorts to following him home. Gohan needs to find ways to avoid getting caught of his titan like strength.

Doesn't feel like Dragonball Z at all. This episode actually follows more suit to Azumanga Daioh. That was an awesome anime to watch. Same with this episode. Dragonball Z must have the best slice of life fillers ever in a shounen anime. The episode is just so simplistic, yet so down to earth and charming. A non moral based episode without the fighting about Gohan trying to conceal his identity from his classmates; it is just so lovable, though not all Dragonball Z fans will enjoy it.moreless

  • not what i would call a series highlight.

    6.4
This episode focus on more on gohan growing in high school. he looks like a totaty weak. I mean at the end of the cell saga. he detroyed cell with a very cool kamikama wave and blasted away Cell and he still takes order from mommy. He saved the world for gosh sakes. although i did like gohan beating the crap out of those bad guys. that was the only relly good part of the whole show a;ong with the only real action part to. and videl. well she was alright i guess. but it looks like chi chi made sucess with gohan studysmoreless
