Vegeta: So I'm right. After 3 millenniums, it's finally happened. A new Super Saiyan has emerged. And I, the prince of Saiyans, have somehow become this popper's witness. I am the only one who understands what he has become, perhaps even better than him. If Kakarot managed to do it, then I should be able to as well. Until then, I am at his mercy. He is the strongest Saiyan in the universe.

Recoome: (to Goku) My name is Recoome, it rhymes with doom, and you'll be hurting all too soon. I truly am a man of many talents.

Burter: (to Jeice, about Goku) He's a pretty boy, isn't he. A real lady's man, like you. If it wasn't for you being short and orange, I'd say he would be the better looking guy.

Burter: I'm your worst nightmare. Goku: I'm not afraid of dreams.

Vegeta: (referring to Goku) Unbelievable! How could he...be that fast?! It looks as if he never moved! But that can't be!

Goku: Sorry! I saw an opening that seemed to scream out "attack!" So...I did. Ha!

Recoome: You shouldn't be smiling! Now you're gonna have to pay Recoome some extra pain tax! Goku: Oh, yeah? Well, guess what? You'll never lay a hand on me! Recoome: HA HA HA! That's a good one! Hey, guys! He says I'll never lay a hand on him! I guess that means I'm gonna beat him up with my feet!

Ginyu: Congratulations, gentlemen. You've all managed to survive the first cut. But I'm afraid the tryout is over. You're all tough guys, it's true, but you lack the one thing that sets all Ginyu apart: Style! Oh, and gentlemen, one more thing: RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! (Assassinating them as they flee)

Goku: (to Gohan) Your mom would shoot me if she saw how dirty you are!

(A cowering soldier accidentally steps on a Dragonball.) Ginyu: You touched a Dragonball! Didn't I specifically say before starting this tryout not to touch any of the Dragonballs? Well, DIDN'T I?! Soldier: Y-yes! Ginyu: AND DID YOU?! Soldier: Y-yes! Ginyu: ... Okay. (Tosses soldier over the horizon.)

Captain Ginyu: Men, you cannot make it as a Ginyu on brute strength alone! A Ginyu must be able to showcase his grandeur and fabulous strength in a variety of poses! I wanna see you men strike a pose! You all look like a bunch of hood ornaments! The purpose of striking a pose is not to become like wallpaper! That is why we chant loudly when we pose; to draw attention to our magnificence! It looks like I'll have to raise the stakes a little bit. The best poser gets a candy! NOW DO IT!

Jeice: You hear that Burter? He thinks he beat Recoome with his skill! Burter: Yeah! It's obvious Recoome only got beat so easily because he let his guard down!

(Ginyu is punching soldiers into the air.) Ginyu: Don't be discouraged, men! I give the same farewell parting to everyone who goes out for the Ginyu Force and doesn't make it! And remember... STYLE! HA HA HA HA HA HA!
