  • This Episodes Was almost a Filler As Goku After Hitching a ride on a Street Sweepers Falls Off The Edge And Into HFIL Or In Full The Home For Infininte Losers.where he meets to ogre's Goz and Mez. Goku Escapes HFIL But Goz and Mez Have The Last laugh.moreless

this was a pretty cool episode, nothing super exciting but not a horrible episode either. i personally thought it was enjoyable due to Goku Wearing on the nerve's on Goz and Mez so easily,However this episode goes deeper than just being a filler. Due to several factors Goku was not able to make it back to Earth before the Saiyans Arrived Instead he arrived after Nappa and Vegeta arrived and had caused there most damage Killing the likes of Piccolo,Tien,Yamcha,Chaotzou, If Goz and Mez hadn't caused Goku to to restart at the beginning of Snake Way perhaps he would have been able to make it back in time to save the lives of his friendsmoreless
  • Annoying and slow episod.

    8.0
    "Great"
There is an Earthquake.. I think it was in this episode that Gohan fell in a hole caused by an Earthquake, but he survived. But, guess what else happened? Goku falls down Snake Way and is sent to Home for Infinite Losers.. HFIL. Also known as "Hell" in reality perhaps. Well, Goku is tricked to do a bunch of crazy things with two demons until he finally is given a way to leave the place.. King Yema's desk. But, after eating a forbidden fruit that had a.. I think golden color or yellowish.. His new strength can help him catch up to where he was before or even farther! Well, and even farther.

There is only three months left until the saiyans or aliens come to Earth. Run! Goku save them!

This episode was great. But, I think it was a filler episode. Perhaps this was one whole chapter in the Dragon Ball Z episode and this series is making an episode out of each chapter. I am eager to see what happens when the saiyans come to Earth in the saga. This is making me impatient. This episode was slow and almost a waste of time to even watch! Grr.moreless

    • English Uncut Episode: Goz and Mez

    • Japanese Airdate: July 26th, 1989

    • Japanese Title: Napping on the Path of the Snake ... Goku Falls Off!

    • Bora and Upa were also cut from this episode. They are seen when Launch is following Tien to Korin's Tower. Since she isn't strong enough, she goes steals some stuff from Bora and Upa's house, and meets up with them.

    • Another episode that was almost entirely cut, mostly because the plot centers around Lunch, a character US audiences were never introduced to because most of Dragon Ball was skipped. The cut is rather unfortunate however, since this episode makes such a good introduction to Tenshinhan and Chaozu for people who have never seen the original Dragon Ball (read, US viewers), and a good re-introduction for those who have. As the English version stands now, they simply appear out of nowhere, which is not the best way to introduce them. The remainder of the episode is made up of Gohan training sequences and Goku on Snake Way, all of which were sprinkled about English episodes 7 and 8. The episode starts with Gohan sleeping under the stars, having a nightmare about Raditz, and what happened to his dad. In his sleep, he calls for his father. Bulma and Krillin are flying around looking for Tenshinhan and Chaozu, Bulma is wearing the scouter in order to detect him. Then, we see Tenshinhan and Chaozu training under a waterfall, and Lunch calls both of them back to the house... uh... with her machine gun. She has a big meal spread out for them, and Chaozu asks her where she got the money. When she tells the two of them that she robbed a bank, Tenshinhan refuses to eat the food, and leaves. Lunch reacting to the earthquake, Tenshinhan saves her from a flood that is caused by the mountain falling apart where the waterfall was resting. His outburst of energy sets the scouter off, and Bulma and Krillin come to get him. Lunch sneezes, and thus returns to her "nice girl" self. She says that she is going to the Kame House and bids Tenshinhan and Chaozu farewell. However, she finds a field of flowers and goes to lie in them. This of course, makes her sneeze, and she turns back to her evil self once again. She returns to Tenshinhan's house as Krillin and Bulma are filling him in on the details of what is going on. Lunch mocks Tenshinhan for going on this fool's quest, but he pays no attention to her. He is ready and willing to defend the Earth.
