  • Goku goes full power

    7.8
The battle between Goku and Captain Ginyu begins and the ruthless Ginyu is trying to uncover Goku's true power. At first, Goku conceals his power level, but he relents at the insistence of Ginyu. Then, Ginyu and Jeice see a power unlike anything they had anticipated. As he goes Kaioken!
  • Damn Goku >_

    8.4
Ginyu arrives, and starts his battle with Goku. Vegeta runs away after the dragon balls, and before Goku can stop him, Ginyu makes his move. The two battle on equal planes with each other, and it's been non stop fighting for much of the time with small segmeants of Bulma whining, Vegeta talking to himself, and Dende mourning. Ginyu thought he had finished off Goku when he delivered a powerful blast equivalent to a nuclear bomb, but Goku remained. Jeice interfered, giving Ginyu the opportunity to grab a hold of Goku. However, Ginyu, who's had his first great battle in a long time, lets him go, and threatens Jeice. Ginyu knows Goku wasn't fighting to his fullest, and tells him he wants to see his true strength. Goku did exactly that, powering up to unimaginable heights that stunned Ginyu.

Thankfully, this episode wasn't as badly dubbed as the horrendous episode before, but I still can't get the fact that the voice actors before, except Goku, were much better, especially Ginyu, Krillin, and Jeice. Jeice seems to be a knock on Canadians for his constant "eh?", and I don't know what they were thinking choosing the voice actor doing Ginyu. But it'd be hard to replace Krillin because his previous one was just brilliant. Aside from this matter, this episode was really exciting. Finally, a full fledged fight with minor interruptions in between. The finaly scene, with Goku powering up incredibly, was pretty sweet. Ginyu's reaction to the major power up was priceless.moreless
  • Gettin' Better

    10
Vegeta flies off, leaving Goku stranded. As Goku drops his guard, Ginyu moves in and makes the first hit. The two power giants exchange blow-for-blow until Ginyu emerges as the first one to get a hit in. Ginyu leads Goku into a somewhat dangerous game of cat-and-mouse, where Goku is the unfortunate victim of the worst soccer game in history, as he is kicked around quite a bit. Goku finally gets his bearings straight and a balanced fight ensues. Elsewhere, Vegeta states that Ginyu and Goku are fairly even in power, and if Lady Luck be with him, they would take care of each other, and all he would have to do is take care of Gohan and Krillin, and the Dragon Balls would be all his. Gohan and Krillin also discuss their mission, which is to get the Dragon Radar from Bulma and find out where the Balls are.
