  • Full Power Super Saiyan Goku vs Perfect Cell in the episode 'No More Rules' is racy, chic and technically rich.

This fight was very intense with extremely fluid action sequences. The great effort of TOEI Animation should be commended for such wonderful animation and characterizations packed with actions that stand out on par even with the current anime shows. Besides, the entire episode has excellent voice acting, interesting BGM and musics with intensity and soul and on top of all, superb camerawork and action choreography by the Japanese animators. All these aspects were scored perfectly in the Jap Version that what makes this episode a magic. The Eng Ver however relied too much on the lame-one-liners and plain musics with synthetizers and horrible voice acting. Funimation takes all reponsibility of these mistakes.moreless
  • Goku and cell continue to boost their power to maximum. Cell attacks goku with a vicious onslaught which nearly brings goku out of the ring. Cell decides he needs no more rules and destroys the arena. Goku and Cell then fight with their maximum power.moreless

As they continue fighting, Trunks slightly thinks that only Goku has what it takes to beat Cell now. Although Piccolo thinks Goku cant win now, Gohan thinks otherwise. Cell and Goku are all over the place, phasing in and out as they each punch and kick one another. As soon as Goku lands a punch or a kick, Cell counters with his own attack. Sonic boom after sonic boom, the fight continues. Naturally, this everyone watching the Cell Games since the camera cant keep up with them. Back on the Lookout, Dende has a hard time focusing on the fight, but Mr Popo helps him to focus. After-image after After-image, Cell and Goku continue to go after each other, neither able to land a punch without the other either disappearing or countering. Cell grows tired of the ring and decides to blow it up, though he's nice enough to warn Goku about it so he can warn everyone to get away from it. With the ring gone, the whole area becomes the battlefield, a more freed environment and more to Cell's liking….especially since noe it can be a fight to the death. After a quick breather, Cell resumes his onslaught against Goku and fires continuous blasts at him. Goku dodges the first dozen or so and then retaliates with his own, having them collide and sending shockwaves all around. From there, they lock in hands and begin to power-up, causing everything to shake and fall apart. Vegeta and Trunks marvel at the fact that Cell and Goku appear to be equals. They then resume fighting. Goku knocks Cell to the ground and charges, as Cell gets up and blasts Goku, who just jumps high into the air. In the air, Goku prepares to fire a powerful Kamehameha Wave at the shock and disbelief of all, including Cell. But at the last second, Goku uses "Instant Transmission" to appear next to Cell and blasts him. The episode ends as the smoke begins to clear and everyone sees a headless and armless Cell. Is this the end? Find out next time.moreless

  • Awsome attack

    8.6
Goku and cell continue to boost their power to maximum. Cell attacks goku with a vicious onslaught which nearly brings goku out of the ring. Cell decides he needs no more rules and destroys the arena. Goku and Cell then fight with their maximum power. Then Goku decides to use the Kamehameha as he is about to use it. Krillen and everyone tell him not to thinking he has lost his mind. Cell is also worried. Then Goku warps behind Cell and fires his Kamehameha point blank at cell!

Awesome technique finally a good episode since silent warrior. I love the warp kamehameha.moreless
  • Wow!

    8.0
The battle between Goku and Cell seems to have risen another notch. Their power levels just keep on rising while pushing each other into their limits. Cell then destroys the arena, and throws away all of the rules he established for the tournament. Though to everyone outside of Hercule and his crew knew that it wasn't about winning the tournament. Afterwards, Goku attempts to unleash a kamehameha wave directly at Cell and into the earth, but he instant transmits himself directly in front of him, destroying his upper body completely.

This is what I'm talking about. There was a good variety of moves and techniques, as well as some surprises that made you drop your jaw in awe. The special effects were much better done that enhanced your excitement tensfold, and the Warp Kamehameha mades you so giddy because of how awesome it was. Though even with all of this considered, and while it did provide more variety compared to previous episodes, it was still a bit repetitive.moreless
