Episode Summary

EDIT

The Z Fighters are in overdrive and because of Cell. Krillin faces Cell alone – barely managing to save some innocent people and himself. Trunks has other problems, as he fears his attempt to save the world only made things worse. Meanwhile, on Master Roshi's island, Chi-Chi is relieved that the heart disease antidote has worked and that Goku is awake. As it happens, he is very much aware of what has been happening since the Android 19 debacle. He also knows that he isn't strong enough to win. The unthinkable – going beyond Super Saiyan – is the hope and the plan.

cELL CONTINUEs to terrorize innocent citizens...

I think all these episodes are all just showing cells evil.

Cell arives in a new town and kills everybody there... They definetaly give a lot of time showing innocent people die!

Anyways cell goes and tries to killa mother and child... bUT krillen arrives... and gives cella one two. But cell beats krillen and puts him in a sticky spot... redy to absorb him... But Cell runs away because Piccolo is here... the scarrrdy cat or bug.... And guess whos awakenmoreless
  • Krillin the hero?

    7.0
Cell is on another human absorbing rampage. His next victims were a young boy and his older sister, but Krillin came to the rescue and saved them. It seemed like he was going to get the juice sucked out of him, but Piccolo and Tien arrived just in time. Trunks ponders to himself what made history change. The Z Warriors amount to ambush Cell, though shortly after, Goku awakens.

This episode is pure filler left and right, though it was pretty neat seeing Krillin owning for once. The part with Krillin saving those two people weren't really bad to watch, but it was Trunks pondering to himself that killed it. It simply recapped everything, but didn't answer questions. It simply reviewed questions that remain to be answered. Waste of time there.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • In this episode, Goku claims to have seen the current goings-on, including Vegeta mentioning the possibility of ascending the Super Saiyan level. This is the first time that Goku shows any signs of (unexplained) psychic ability since he read Krillin's thoughts during the Namek Saga.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • (Android 18 destroys the forest.)
Android 18: See, that's more like it!
Android 17: Well done, once again you've managed to destroy any possibility we had of having fun.

    • Android 18: Tell me again, why are we off the road!?
Android 17: Come on! Where's your sense of adventure, 18?

    • Goku: Hey I'm alright now. Just relax now. It's time for me to start my training once again. It's time for me to move to the next level.
      Master Roshi: What?
Goku: Vegeta knows it, too. Through my dreams I could hear him speaking what I had also felt - that there's a level beyond that of a Super Saiyan... and I will rise to claim it.

    • Tien: Krillin, are you alright?
Krillin: (Has his head through the airplane) What do you think?
