A rather boring episode after all that fighting but its an important part of the story.moreless
  • Oh no, DBZ is resorting back to its old ways.

Vegeta is determined that his strength is the most supreme now, immediately chasing after Cell with Trunks following. Cell is majorly pissed off thanks to Tien's heroics, and tries flushing 18 out by destroying near by islands. Meanwhile, Goku and Gohan enter the time chamber.

This episode filled with filler isn't as bad as some previous episodes filled with filler, but it's slowly starting to resort to its old ways. Though I guess I'd rather see Vegeta brag to himself rather than Trunks' not as cool scoffing. And the results of Vegeta's and Trunk's training will be held for another episode, which is not cool.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • According to Vegeta, a Pure Blooded Saiyan hair never changes from the day that he is born.

    • Inconsistency: In early Dragon Ball, according to Bora (a Native American-esque warrior who lives directly underneath Korin Tower), no plane or rocket can get to Korin's tower, because it would run out of fuel before it got there. However, Bulma manages to get her plane up to Kami's Lookout, which is even higher than Korin's tower. However, it is not completely impossible for Bulma, being the technical genius she is, to have invented a more efficient plane to reach such a high altitude. One can also explain the inconsistency by taking into account the amount of time that has passed since Bora said what he did - that is more than enough time to make some technological advances.

    • Look Closely: When Cell was screaming at the top of his lungs, a civilian in one of the cities had a shirt that said "The Super Saiyan".

    • Buzz the Tower
Bulma does a fly-by on Korin's place much like what Maverick and Goose regularly do in the movie Top Gun. Korin even has a cup in his hands.
