Episode Summary

EDIT
Regularly scheduled programming is suddenly interrupted by Cell. The Z Fighters and company already know the situation and about the upcoming tournament, but those watching TV soon follow. As Cell explains, the new tournament will be open to everyone and held in several days. Also, if Cell wins, Earth is doomed. Obviously, a lot of TV viewers probably would've preferred not hearing that. The Z Fighters have much to do now.moreless

  • Cell takes over television!

    7.5
The Z Fighters sit around at Capsule Corp awaiting news from Cell on the Cell Games. Yamcha and Krillian decide it's time to do a bit of training to get ready for the Cell Games. Wht's the point I mean they are weaklings and Krillian has seen Perfect Cell first hand so surely he knows he has no chance.

Baby Trunks tugs on Future Trunks hair, Yamcha kicks Krillian in the head but slips on the shiny baldness of it. And Master Roshi fights over cake.

Gohan has a chilling nightmare of Cell killing Chi Chi and Piccolo. He and Goku continue to train hard but in order to go beyond a super sayian.

Cell pop up on Tv and tells everyone about the rules. He pretty much destroys half a town in the process.

Not alot happens in this episode but it was good at times and ammusingmoreless

Cell breaks into showbiz, literally! The sinister android hijacks a television station in order to announce his "Cell Games" to the world! But are there any challengers left with the strength and courage to get into the ring? Cell then demonstrates his destructive power by destroying part of the city, Yamcha and Krillin then decide it's time to start training again, while Vegeta takes off, with so little time left until the climactic battle, can our heroes devise a plan to defeat the sinister android, or will the fate of the world rest in Cell's hands?moreless
  • Krillin's head the secret weapon lol.

    7.3
Krillin and Yamcha decide to train with each other in anticipation of the upcoming Cell Games. Though on the TV, they find that Cell has invaded the media. He explains the rules for the Cell Games and the basic layout. Meanwhile, Gohan gets a nightmare of Cell, though continues to train hard.

This episode was a bit amusing. It was quite unintentional, but Yamcha and Krillin thinking they'll be able to match Cell by training in just ten days was quite laughable. It was also hilarious how when they were training, Yamcha slipped on Krillin's shiny head. The nightmare scene of Gohan was pretty decent, and also kind of amusing.moreless
