raditz tells goku that unless he kills 100 humans by the next day, he will kill gohan. raditz then flies away with gohan. right when all hope seems lost, things get worse... or fo they? piccolo arrives and says that he will help goku fight raditz. goku and piccolo make a powerful team, but will it be enough to beat raditz? find out next time on dragonball z.

A good beginning

This episode has some flaws in the sense that it drags on, but that can be a bonus at times for people who do enjoy episodes that drag the story longer. If you do enjoy this dragging on and on of the same thing, then you would most likely enjoy the Cell Games, which i hate a lot. However, this episode has its major positive points as well, such as Raditz being able to make Piccolo and Goku look like nothing next to his skill. Although it does focus on the battle between Piccolo, Goku, and Raditz, it also allows Gohan to develop as a character.moreless

Krillin, Bulma, and Master Roshi rush to Goku's aid. Goku regains his strength and vows to get his son back, even if it means his death. Krillin and Master Roshi agree to go with him, but Goku tells them that if they were to die, they couldn't be revived since the Shenron cannot grant the same wish twice. Piccolo emerges out of nowhere, telling them that even if they banded together they would still be no match for Raditz. Piccolo agrees to form an alliance with Goku for just this one time, and after they beat Raditz, that Goku is next on his agenda. Goku asks for Bulma's Dragon Radar, and they follow the signal on Gohan's cap. After Goku and Piccolo leave, Krillin, Bulma, and Master Roshi follow in a capsule plane.

Raditz is shown eating the meat off of an animal he killed. Gohan is hiding behind the deceased farmer's truck, but Raditz finds him and locks him up in his space capsule to mask the sound of his crying. There is a blip on his scouter, and he sees that Gohan is the one exhibiting this power. He declares it a malfunction and carries on. Just then, Goku and Piccolo arrive and prepare for battle. Both of them discard their weighted clothes and run dead-on at Raditz.

Raditz proves to be more than a match for them and tells them that even if they manage to kill him that there are two more Saiyans that are much stronger than he is, leaving Goku and Piccolo in total shock.
