Episode Summary

EDIT
Krillin launches an attack on Cell and is easily beaten back. All he is interested in fighting is Vegeta, who feels the exact same way. Round two begins and things start out smoothly enough for Vegeta. However, the tables quickly turn. Everything Vegeta tries fails, while Cell gives him one painful beating after another. Things only threaten to get worse for the Saiyan Prince from there.moreless

  • okay episode, nothing spectatcular really

    7.5
Krillin is realing from a hit he took from Cell in the previous episode. Trunks get's him a sensu bean just in the nick of time.

Vegeta unleashes an attack on Cell and it appears the two are an even match. Trunks doesn't think it's enough and reveals that he has even greater power than Vegeta's but doesn't want to reveal it and destroy Vegeta's pride.

Vegeta can't lay a hit on Cell and he get's frustrated because Cell is toying around. He shows his true power when Vegeta lands a kick to the head and Cell doesn't even feel it.

Not a great deal happened, except Vegeta got made to look very weak.moreless
  • vegeta brought this on himself

    7.1
After allowing Cell to reach his final form, Vegeta is ready for the challenge he was promised. But as Cell becomes a brick wall to the Saiyan's every blow, it's clear that Vegeta has more than he bargained for! I would say they could have made this episode wayyyyy better!
  • A waste of an episode.

    6.6
Cell is complete, kicks Krillin in the neck, and Vegeta decides to fight him. Trunks feeds Krillin a senzu bean, and he tells Trunks afterwards that Cell is superior to Vegeta of the small dose of power he felt when he got kicked. It seemed to be the case when Cell was basically clowning around with Vegeta literally the entire episode.

It's like I never get what I want during the course of a Dragonball Z episode. Before I asked for dragged out fighting filler instead of dragged out talking, but this basically blew. The fighting was poorly directed and felt like it could have easily been compressed (and it wasn't for obvious reasons). You knew what was going to happen right from the beginning of the episode, and it didn't actually happen until the end of it.moreless
