  • Great Episode!

    Vegeta shows us his intelligence.
Vegeta is put in the recovery chamber to heal. Appule starts making some stupid comments about him and Vegeta completes his healing and blasts through the chamber (kills Appule in a result).

Vegeta is really smart too. He tricks Freiza and Zarbon by pretending to have left the space ship but he's actually there the whole time (Freiza and Zarbon cannot sense power levels without a scouter). He lures them in and around the spaceship and manages to steal the 5 Dragonballs of Freiza's. The tables have turned! Goku continues his training at 50x gravity. Gohan also retrieves the Dragonball Vegeta hid in the lake.

    SCORE: Freiza - 0 Dragonballs Vegeta - 5 Dragonballs Gohan - 2 Dragonballs

Well looks like Freiza won't be getting the Dragonballs anytime soon..moreless

As one of the grunts cowardly mocks Vegeta as he's recovering, Vegeta breaks out and destroys the recovery room chamber. Zarbon and Frieza naturally check it out to see what has happened. Vegeta has escaped! However, he remained in the room, and fooled the two to lure them out of the control room, where the dragon balls are. Zarbon was outside, looking for him, and Vegeta lured them inside again to make the perfect escape. He successfully brought back with him five of the dragon balls, and he knows the location of one of them. However, Gohan is fast at work with locating the one hidden in the lake, and retreives it. While Vegeta was celebrating to himself, Krillin, who was too busy celebrating his new found powers, doesn't even notice Vegeta trailing him. Zarbon locates both Krillin and Vegeta, and trails them as well.

Like most of the previous episodes, this episode is way too dragged out. All of the content feels like it could have been compressed into a much more enjoyable experience. Though what was presented did a good job of progressing the story and making it more interesting. Vegeta showed he was a smart warrior by unexectedly remaining in the vicnity. Like they say; the closer you are to danger, the farther away you are from harm. Yeah, I got that off of Lord of the Rings. But this was a perfect example of this. And it was funny how Krillin was smiling about his new found powers while he was flying back to the cave, not knowing that Vegeta and Zarbon are following his lead.moreless
