Goku fights with Kid Buu as a Super Saiyan 3 and is doing quite well, though it raises the question how he plans to kill a putty-like baddie. Vegeta watches the fight with admiration and begins a flashback to his entire history with Goku, beginning in the Saiyan Saga and going all the way up to the point where Vegeta blew himself up to defeat Buu. Down in Hell, Frieza and the other villains are watching and Babidi takes the credit for Buu being so strong, though he secretly wishes for Buu to lose. Goku realizes at the end of the fight that he doesn't have the energy to beat Buu and he'll need Vegeta to run interference while he builds it up.moreless

    Goku transforms into Super Saiyan 3 and fights Kid Buu with holding his own. Goku thinks he can fight down to give Vegeta a chance to face Kid Buu. Unfortunately Kid Buu is stronger than he thought, so he decides to launch his full power Kamehameha to kill Kid Buu. Look like he did it, Kid Buu is blown into loads of tiny pieces but once again he regenerates, each piece of him turns into a small Kid Buu and they blast energy to Goku. Goku is completely runs out of energy and returns to normal, he falls down on the ground. When all the hopes are losed, Vegeta steps in. Vegeta tries his best to fight Kid Buu but he completely no match for him and he is quickly defeated. Just in time Kid Buu prepares to destroy Vegeta, Goku comes to rescure him and continues to fight Kid Buu. At this time, Vegeta finally realizes that Goku is far stronger than he could ever be and he puts his hope on Goku will defeat Buu. Goku transforms into Super Saiyan 3 again and starts to fight seriously. Now the battle for the universe is truly about to begin!moreless

    The episode starts with Goku fighting with Kid Buu as a Super Saiyan 3 and is holding his own, unfortunately Kid Buu is just as fast as Goku and has his special ability to be able to regenerate his body.

    As the fight continues, Goku decides to use all his remaining energy to do a Kamehameha on Buu, he is blown into loads of tiny pieces, but, again he regenerates himself. Goku is completely out of energy and at the mercy of Buu, until, Vegeta steps in!

    Vegeta tries his best to fight with Buu but he is clearly no match for him, Buu throws him into a huge rock and is just about to destroy Vegeta but, just in the nick of time Golu come to the rescue and continues to battle Buu.

    Vegeta falls to the floor and watches as Goku once again holds his own against Buu, Vegeta finally realises that Goku is far stronger than Vegeta could ever be and concedes defeat to his ego!

    Now the fight with Buu is truly about to begin!!!moreless

  • This is a very important episode, this is because this is the first time that Vegeta actually realises Goku is stronger than him and since the fight with Frieza, has always been stronger than him!moreless
