  • Decent episode.

    "Good"
Goku is eager to see the Grand Kai after hearing from King Kai how powerful he is. King Kai meets his rival Kai, West Kai, who has with him his prized fighter, Pikkon. The Grand Kai has summoned West Kai and Pikkon in order to take care of some old friends of Goku who are causing havoc in the world for infinite losers, Cell and Freiza. Goku comes along, and defeats the Ginyu force, but when Cell makes his move, Pikkon easily immediately dispatches him, and the short lived threat is over.

It just seems like Dragonball Z episodes are that much shorter compared to most animes. It's not exactly the length of it; just that they feel really short. Well, for one obvious reason; limited content that's stretched out in order to last the span of 20 minutes. This is no exception. It felt like after Cell and Frieza were put away, that it was half way through the episode, instead it ended. What gave this episode redeeming value was Pikkon. How he created suspense for possible match ups in the future was executed well, and the music that created his debut as a fighter really gave you goosebumps.moreless

Goku goes with and when they get there Cell is torturing an orge. Frieza has the Ginyu Force (minus Ginyu) attack Goku but he easily beats all of them with 1 punch a piece. Then Cell charges at Goku but Pikkon intercepts and defeats him in 2 blows. Then he elbows King Cold and hits Frieza in the head. Then he makes a whirlwind and the Ginyu Force and Cell fall towards the spike mountain and all 7 end up in jail while Goku congratulates Pikkon.moreless
