In the English version, there were many edited scenes in this episode. In the Japanese version however, Zarbon's pure ferocious brutality is witnessed in its uncut glory. One of the most appealing scenes that was edited from the English version was the scene where Zarbon attacks Vegeta after transforming and headbutts Vegeta one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, and eight times in a row. The sheer relentlessness is better viewed in the Japanese version, where there is no censoring. This episode would have to be one of the most brutal episodes in the history of Dragon Ball.

- This episode is actually the first time we see Zarbon, a true villain transform. Disregard Vegeta's Oozaru transformation because he's not a true villain since he becomes good later on. - According to this episode, Zarbon explains to Vegeta that Frieza was afraid of a union of saiyans, not individually. - Zarbon is Frieza's most powerful henchman and he is also the most powerful member of Frieza's entire army. The Ginyu Force are not a part of Frieza's army, they are hired mercenaries, so they do not apply to these ranks. However, Zarbon is Frieza's most powerful warrior followed by Dodoria.
