    • As mentioned in the Dragon Book, the character Chao is re-used in this video, even going so far as to bring back the original voice actress. Throughout all of DragonBall, Yamamoto Yuriko only ever does the one voice of Chao (who is a filler character), so it just seems extremely odd to redesign such an obscure character for this video, and then call the original voice actor back for this one small role. Edit
    • As mentioned in the Dragon Book, this video actually takes place in modern-day Japan. So instead of all the funky building and vehicle designs we usually see in DragonBall, we instead get a true-to-life version of West City. Everything from the layout of the park and streets, right down to the payphone and the design of Bulma's kitchen reflect how things would have looked (and for the most part, still do look) in Japan during the late 1980's. Edit
    • Exactly how and when this video was distributed seems to be a complete mystery. However, I think it's safe to assume that it was either aired on TV between shows as a public service announcement, or it was distributed to schools as a safety demonstration video. Judging from the warning at the beginning of the video, it seems more likely that it was distributed to schools. Edit
