The design look for Major Metallitron was probably based on Arnold Schwarzenegger reminiscent of his movie role in Terminator. I mean look at him. Big muscular body with shades, and the hair! Only it's purple and not brown. Also, Metallitron's real name is Sgt. Metallic. Sgt. Metallic is a parody of the Terminator from the movie of the same name. Edit
