"To Fly With Dragons"
Max and Emmy (especially Max) aren't too happy about moving into their new house. Inside, there's a nice playroom and all of their toys have been brought in. Then, Max discovers a secret drawer. Inside is a box containing a dragon scale. Emmy shows Max a picture of dragon scales in her dragon book. As both hold the dragon scale, Emmy utters some words found on the box. "I wish, I wish, with all my heart, to fly with dragons, in a land apart." They arrive in Dragon Land, but have no idea where they are. They observe Ord and Cassie flying. After the introductions, they fly to Singing Springs where they meet Zak and Wheezie, who are actually two dragons, but share one body. Meanwhile, Ord's lost his baby tooth and wants to find it so that he can make a wish on it. At the end of the episode, Ord wishes that Max and Emmy can keep coming back to Dragon Land. Quetzal provides Ord with a dragon scale which he, or one of the other young dragons, can use to call Max and Emmy.
"The Forest of Darkness"
Emmy and Max go to Dragon Land. There, they are called into the School in the Sky, along with their dragon friends. Quetzal assigns Ord a special mission. He's to find a starseed and bring it back. His friends can go with him, but he becomes scared when he gets there. He's afraid of the dark. Can his friends light the way and can Ord face his fears when the light has to be turned out?moreless
"A Cool School"
Max is scared to go to their new school, so he and Emmy go to Dragon Land where they end up going to school with the dragons. However, as this is a dragon school where dragon things (like breathing fire or flying) are done, Max and Emmy as people aren't capable of doing that stuff. Or are they?
"Max's Comic Adventure"
In this adventure in Dragon Land, Max shows the dragons his 3-D Mondo Mouse comic book. But while Wheezie is wearing the glasses, she notices a sign that only someone wearing the 3-D glasses can see. Pretty soon, everyone is trying to figure out the meanings of what turns out to be a whole series of signs. Could these lead to something big?
Max and Emmy are dressed warmly, as Quetzal is taking them to Snowy Summit. Max wants to bring along a lot of toys, but Emmy explains that you don't need toys to have fun in the snow. When they get to Dragon Land, Quetzal enjoys a short reminisce about playing at Snowy Summit. Emmy wants to know where Cassie is and Quetzal explains that she's getting over a cold. Emmy stays behind to keep Cassie company and Quetzal takes Max and Ord to Snowy Summit. When Ord finds a log that looks like a sled, they forget Quetzal's advice to stay together. It's not long before they're lost. At first, they're not too worried, but when they can't find Quetzal (who's looking for them), they become more concerned. Can they work together to find Quetzal?
"The Fury is Out on This One"
When Max gets hot and bothered over the outcome of a game of Dragon Tag, he finds he has a new annoying partner --- a gremlin called a Fury who feeds off his angry. He eggs Max on until finally Emmy and the dragons convince Max that it was just a game and his anger doesn't serve any useful purpose.
"Do Not Pass Gnome"
Max accidentally breaks Emmy's yo-yo after he was told not to touch it. In Dragon Land, the gang encounters a floating guy named Simon who says he can fix Emmy's yo-yo. But first, they all have to play a game of Simon Says.
The gang goes on a treasure hunt in Dragon Land. However, when they get to the treasure trove, they get trapped inside, and the door won't open. What are they going to do now?
"The Jumping Bean Express"
In the playroom, Max and Emmy are playing with a miniature basketball set. Emmy shoots and scores a 3-pointer. Suddenly Dragon Scale glows - they're being summoned to Dragon Land. So, we hear the rhyme that we're now all familiar with, and the dragon decorations on the wall come alive and surround them. In Dragon Land, Ord, Cassie, Zak and Wheezie are holding on to a cage. Max and Emmy arrive and Ord hands them a hug. A bug? Well, it has to do with what's in the cage: two jumping beans that are unlike the kind in the real world - these beans have faces and can do animal tricks. Quetzal then shows up and briefs our friends on what to do: they are to return the beans to Quetzal's brother, Fernando. So, the kids and the dragons set off to do Quetzal's bidding. Halfway through, Emmy comments on the beans doing tricks. This causes Wheezie to want to show off, and in the lieu of confusion, she maneuvers in such a way that Zak's head knocks the cage out of Emmy's hands. Ord and Max try to get it, but the cage bounces off Ord's head instead. Ouch. They failed. Wheezie and Zak try to get it, and almost do, but the cage is too fast for them. The cage bounces into a tree, then into a bush, then opens up. The beans then pack their suitcases, bid adieu, and run off. Where did they go? Wheezie spots them and they get to them, but how do they catch them? Ord starts pulling stuff out of his pouch. How about a candy cane? Nope, that won't do any good. A trumpet? Nah. Aha! A bug net! But the beans are fast and so instead of catching the beans in his net, Ord snags a doodle fairy. Sorry! They see the beans go across a bridge and follow them. Unfortunately, while crossing the bridge, they don't notice that there are small rocks next to the bridge that form another path across the river, and the beans are using it to get back! Now they're playing a back and forth game with the beans. They eventually nab them, but as they take to the air to continue on their journey, the beans escape once again. They catch up quickly and see the beans on a pair of trees. They brainstorm on how to get the beans down and back into the cage. Wheezie suggests that they pretend to be beans too and jump on them. Zak thinks that it's a stupid idea - since they want to get the beans back, not squish them. Cassie thinks Wheezie's idea might work and relates her plan to them. But they're too big. Emmy suggests that they can use their fingers, then asks Ord for some finger paint. So the beans are playing in the trees, when suddenly a female bean appears. The beans, being males, let their instinct take control of them and heads off to mate... er, meet the female. Meanwhile, Max and Ord quietly sneak up from behind and cage them. Emmy emerges from the bush - turns out that her finger was the female! And so, with the beans back in the cage, they head off to find Fernando. They do. Fernando looks just like Quetzal, except that he has a deeper voice! He then lets the beans out. They all fret- they're going to escape again! Wait, not so. Fernando has a dragonberry cupcake and the jumping beans will never run when there's a dragonberry cupcake around. Now wouldn't that have been helpful earlier- since Ord always keeps a dragonberry cupcake in his pouch! The jumping beans make quick work of the cupcake and Max and Emmy return to their playroom. Max says that he wants to do a jumpshot. Emmy lets him. Max gets the ball, and jumps towards the net before dunking the ball. When asked what kind of shot that is, Max says that it's a jumping bean shot. How clever.
"Get Offa My Cloud"
Max is in the playroom with Emmy. He wants to know what she's doing. It's a project for class. They're planting carrot seeds inside a plastic cup filled with soil. They water it everyday, then, when the carrot's ready, they just pull it out. Emmy waters the seedling as she complains that it's slow. They get the idea that plants grow fast in Dragon Land and decide to go there. They arrive and Ord gives them a big hug. Emmy tells Ord her idea, which Ord really likes. They only brought carrot seeds. Fortunately, Ord has fruits in his pouch. Well, you can't exactly plant fruits, so Ords eats them up and neatly spits the seeds. Cassie then explains that they have something called Wonder Water in Dragon Land to make the seeds grow fast. She heads off to get a can full. Meanwhile, Emmy and Ord get to work. Max tries to help, but instead, he ruins things. So, he takes a seat under a shady tree. Meanwhile, Cassie returns with a can of Wonder Water. She warns that they must only use a drop on each seed. Having watered the plants, they head off to Ord's cave to have lunch. Max didn't want to come along. He decides to head back to the garden, where he decides that maybe he should have another try at helping. He pours lots of water on a single seed. That wasn't such a good idea. There's a bit of an earthquake as suddenly the small seed shoots up into a very large plant. One of the leaves get under Max, and lifts him up - way up - on to a cloud. There, he find a little gnome guy with the attitude of Zak named Squink, who got up there by means of a bubble, but hasn't got down since. Meanwhile, everybody else returns to the vegetable patch, only to find Max missing. Back on top of the plant, Max accidentally drips some Wonder Water onto Squink's beard, causing it to elongate. This prompts Max to think. Suddenly, he remembers that he still has some carrot seeds in his pocket, and carrots grow downwards. So, he plants them with the remaining amount of soil he has in his pocket into the cloud, and pours lots of Wonder Water on it. A giant carrot grows, with it's root protruding down the cloud. Max plans to use the carrot as a very long sliding pole. Back down on the ground, Ord suddenly spots Max's giant carrot, and alerts the gang. They head towards it, where they find Max sliding down. They also find that he's a hero, as he rescued Squink from being in that cloud for so long. They celebrate and then Max and Emmy have to go home. Back home, Max wants to water the carrot, but Emmy won't let him. They start to fight over the watering can, and end up spilling the water on their feet. Max thinks that maybe they will get big feet. They both laugh at this idea.
It's the day of the Dragon Fair and one of the fun activities is a game called Sackberry Toss. Sackberrys are a lot like water balloons, but unlike them, they have a sticky purple juice inside. This is a big problem for Zak and Wheezie, who want to join in the game, but don't know how to catch. Emmy helps them out by teaching them the basics.

"A Tall Tale"
Max is tired of being short and wishes he were taller. In Dragon Land, the gang encounters a unicorn named Eunice who is looking for her lost glasses. But even helping out Eunice, Max still is wishing he were taller for one reason or another. Is there any way Max's low height can help the gang with their search?
It's Ord's birthday and the gang goes to a playground in the clouds for part of the celebration. However, a storm occurs and Ord, being scared of it, hides in a cave. Can his friends show him that he doesn't have to be afraid of a storm?
"The Greatest Show in Dragon Land"
The show opens with Max playing on a slide made out of pillows. Emmy enters the room. Max asks her if she is interested in playing with his slide. She says no because they're going to Wonderworld with their friends in Dragon Land. So, they take the magical dragon scale out of the drawer and wish upon it like they always do. In Dragon Land, Ord and Cassie are sitting under a tree, on the lookout for Emmy and Max. Emmy and Max appear and Ord gives them a hug. Now, where's Zak and Wheezie? A knuckerhole opens up, and Zak and Wheezie crawls out of it. Wheezie hurt her wing falling off the swing the day before. The gang takes off for Wonderworld. Zak and Wheezie too try to take off, but ended up spinning around - Wheezie can't fly because of the cast on her wing. So, they can't go - or can they? Emmy suggests they walk. Zak and Wheezie are reluctant at first, but decide to go ahead. They soon come upon their first obstacle - Dragoon Lagoon. It would take ages to walk around it and there's no boat anywhere in sight. Zak and Wheezie want to pull out again, but Cassie has an idea. She asks Ord if he has any snacks. Ord says that he has some stale fish crackers. He pulls the packet of fish crackers out of his pouch, munches on some, comments that they're not that stale, then munches on them some more. Cassie stops him and says that she can use them. So, how's a little fish going to help them across? Turns out that it's no little fish Cassie's calling, but Fifi, the sea serpent. They get on and Fifi takes them across. Halfway through, Ord slips and falls off Fifi, but manages to get hold of Fifi's tail and water-skies the rest of the way. They make it across. Max wants to go again, but there's no time for that. They have to continue on their journey to Wonderworld. So, what's next? They have to cross the rainforest. Now, unlike the typical rainforests that exists in our world, these rainforests has rain pouring down non-stop, and it's getting heavier! Zak and Wheezie wants to pull out again, for Wheezie's not supposed to get her cast wet. But Emmy has a plan. They all coast through the rainforest on a hollowed-out log. Up next, a snow-covered hill. So, they climb it. They reach the top and see Wonderworld. But it will take forever to get down! Zak and Wheezie wants to go back, but trips and falls on the way. This gives Emmy an idea - they'll slide down the hill! So, Zak covers Wheezie's cast with a sock, and the gang slides down the hill, with Ord making a dragonberry snowcone along the way. They've made it! They enter Wonderworld, but to their disgust, it's a kiddie park with rides that pale in comparison to all of the stuff they just did to get there. Rather than entering the park, they just decide to go back on, the same way they came. Max and Emmy have to leave though. They return to the playroom. Max asks Emmy if she still wants to play on his slide. Emmy declines. She's says that she's pooped, and falls asleep on one of the pillows. It isn't long before Max is getting sleep either.
"Prepare According to Instructions"
Max and Emmy are getting on their boots, it just stopped raining and they're going out to jump in the puddles. Of course, since they're excited about getting to jump in the puddles, it starts raining again. They decide to go to Dragon Land instead. Max and Emmy materialize in the School in the Sky, where Quetzal is reading to the dragons. Quetzal was just telling a tale about dancing crystals. Using his magic, he brings an illustration from the book to life to show the crystals doing the can-can. Emmy asks Quetzal for the directions to get there. They have to get a bucket of water from the Singing Springs, some dandelion fuzzies from the dandelion forest and finally, get to turtle rock and take ten steps from there. Also, they must do all of this by sundown. So, the gang gets ready to set off on their journey. Cassie asks Emmy if they should go get some things. Emmy declines. The gang sets off. Zak and Wheezie, meanwhile, are taking precautions. They go back to the School in the sky, and take their first aid kit. Wheezie also takes some flowers before they set off. So, the gang regroups, and arrives at the Singing Springs. They go to get the water, but they don't have a bucket. Emmy asks Ord if he has a bucket, but he doesn't. So Max and Emmy decide to use their rain boots to carry the water. One problem solved. Next, the dandelion forest. Zak and Wheezie run into a dandelion. Zak's fine, but Wheezie's got a booboo. Cassie's only got one band-aid left. Luckily, they have more in their first aid kit. Ord then starts sneezing because of his allergy to dandelions, but fortunately Zak and Wheezie has some tissues in the first aid kit as well. They get their dandelion fuzzies. Now, to head to Turtle Rock. Except they don't remember how to get to Turtle Rock. Cassie offers to go back for the map. Emmy asks Cassie to bring a little something extra. Cassie returns with the map and they all head to Turtle Rock, and finds the cave. They go in. It's dark and Ord's scared, but it turns out that the "something extra" is Quetzal's lamp. So now they have light. So, they go in, and soon reaches this place where there seems to be a stage. Now what? First, pour the water from the singing spring out of Max's boot. The water reacts with the soil, causing lively jazz music to start playing. Next, they throw the dandelion fuzzies up onto the stage. Lights light up the stage, as the crystals on the ground pop up and does the can-can as the gang watches on. Soon, the show's over. Emmy wishes to thank the crystals for the dance. Wheezie to the rescue, and gives the flowers she plucked earlier to the crystals as their token of appreciation. Max and Emmy go home. The rain has stopped, so they can go outside and jump in the puddles. Max goes in the closet and comes out with a raincoat, an umbrella, and flippers. Emmy comments that they're going to jump in the puddles, not go scuba diving.
"Rise and Bloom"
Max wants to see the once-a-year event of all time in Dragon Land, the Bursting Blossoms blooming! But it happens at sunrise, and Max has trouble shaking off his tiredness. Later, they find out the Bursting Blossoms need help waking up as well! It's up to the kids and dragons help them wake up so they can bloom, assuming that Max can be helped first.
"Super Snow Day"
Enrique arrives one warm spring day to find Max and Emmy in their winter clothes! Max and Emmy are going to Dragon Land to sled on Snowy Summit. They really want Enrique to go along with them, but Enrique has never experienced snow before, and is afraid of sledding as well. Max and Emmy do their best to help him have some great fun in the snow.
Max and Emmy are excited to get to Dragon Land as today is the big opening of the Dragon Land Aquarium. It's an exciting place, with food and rides and even a squirt fish, the only type of fish in Dragon Land that can walk on land. They arrive at Dragon Land and head for the aquarium, but not before getting Zak and Wheezie out of their knuckerhole, since they have the tickets to the aquarium. Or do they? When Wheezie gets there, she can't find the tickets. She asks the ticket-taker if they can get in anyway, since she really did have the tickets, she promises, but the ticket-taker is the same Poor Man's Rodney Dangerfield that was in the Season One episode "Roller Coaster Dragon" and he's not willing to let them in without tickets.
"Remember the Pillow Fort"
Max and Emmy have a box with various costume outfits and are using them to play dress up. Max dresses up as a king and asks Emmy if she'd be willing to be queen. Emmy, however, is more interested in dressing up as a doctor and ministering to her doll. They go to Dragon Land so that the dragons can join them in their activities. There, Cassie and Emmy jointly decide to play doctor together, while Max explains to Ord what being a king is about. Then Max has the idea of building forts, made out of pillows. When they each run out of their chosen color of pillow (which are picked from "pillow trees") they get into an argument over which color of pillow is better.
Max and Emmy are at home working on a cow puzzle in their playroom. Max is having a hard time finding a particular piece and wants to give up and play with something different. Emmy begins to encourage him to keep trying, but then the dragon scale glows, calling them to Dragon Land. They drop the cow puzzle without further comment and head off. In Dragon Land, they find themselves in a forest called Puzzlewood. It turns out that it's the dragons' first time playing there, but they got lost and now they don't know how to get out. They can't fly because there's large branches blocking the way. It's suggested that they see if they can find anybody who lives in the forest who they might be able to ask how to get out. They find a dragon fairy and ask her. She explains that there are three doors and they have to solve the doors' puzzles. She leads them in the direction of the first door. The first door has the face and voice of an old lady and she asks them to find a flower that has five petals and three leaves. They go flower-hunting, at first bringing back a flower that has five petals and five leaves and one with three petals and three leaves. Neither of these were what the door asked for, so this time they try to remember that there's a three and a five. They find the flower and use it (a Rosy Posy) to successfully open the door. They soon come upon the second door, who's a guy with a glasses. He wants them to find his favorite rock, which has two green stripes and green spots. Once again, they at first bring him rocks that don't match his description. Then Cassie draws a picture of the rock in question and by using the picture, they're able to find a rock that matches. They head for the third door with a old guy, but with a funny voice. He has a favorite mask and directs them to Ms. Tree, a tree on which masks grow. She has a picture of his favorite mask. She shows it to them and they search and finally find one that they believe matches. They take it back to the door, but it's not his favorite mask. Max realizes what the problem is, although they found one with triangle eyes and everything else that matches, the triangle eyes are upside-down of the way they should be. They pick one that matches (a happy sappy mask) and unlock the final door. Max and Emmy return home, where they try again on the cow puzzle. This time, Max takes a careful look at the and shape of a puzzle piece and manages to find the correct space for it.
Max and Emmy's Mom is baking cookies. Max and Emmy love cookies, but they know they have to wait until they're finished baking before they can eat them. They decide to do something fun to pass the time - head for Dragon Land. There, the dragons are playing with peekaboo flowers - flowers that will play peekaboo with you. Wheezie scares them with her loudness, but Cassie manages to get them to play by being quiet. The dragons invite Max and Emmy to play, but then in the flower patch they see one of the peekaboo flowers walking. Ord didn't know they could walk. It turns out that this peekaboo flower is attached to the hat of Greta the Gremlin. She's carrying three magic boxes and explains that they each contain a surprise inside. She offers to show them to Max, Emmy and the dragons, but then a strong wind gust blows her wait away. Everyone goes chasing after it, except for Zak and Wheezie, who Greta asks to hold the boxes. She heads off after her hat, leaving Zak and Wheezie there by themselves. Wheezie's fascinated by the boxes and is soon after them, trying to open them. She nearly gets into one, but Zak pulls them away from her and then suggests a game to pass the time - making up a story. This works for a while, but then Wheezie incorporates the boxes into her story and grabs for the first box sooner than Zak can stop her. She opens it. It's a music box and it causes her and Zak to start dancing. Wheezie enjoys this at first, but Zak doesn't. They soon realize that as long as the music is going, they can't stop dancing. They try to close the music box, but it's stuck open. They head for the School in the Sky to get Quetzal's help, but he's inside, on the second floor and thinks that they're just waving to him. Finally, the music slows down and stops and they're able to close the box. Pretty soon, however, Wheezie wants to find out what's inside the other boxes. Zak hides them out of her site and they play a game of Juggle Ball to pass the time. Then Wheezie loses her balance and falls upon the boxes. She's thinking about then again and pretty soon out comes the second surprise. It's a "tickle twinkle," an animated spiky-sphere of bright pink light. It moves all up and down Zak and Wheezie, tickling them like crazy, until Wheezie manages to use her quick reflexes to trap it back in the box. The gang arrives, having found Greta's hat. Wheezie is forced to admit that she peeked at two of the surprises. Greta returns and she's upset at Wheezie for opening the boxes without her permission. However, Wheezie has yet to open the third box. Greta lets the entire gang pull a streamer out of it. She then says the magic words "gribbity gree" and everyone pulls on their streamer, producing a maypole that twirls everyone around in the air. Wheezie's glad she waited to open the third box, otherwise they wouldn't have known the magic words. Back in the playroom, Max and Emmy are still waiting on the cookies. They're probably done by now, but they're still too hot to eat. They decide to make surprise boxes like Greta's and they wonder what they'll put in them. Mom calls them into the kitchen and they realize the answer - cookies.
"Up, Up and Away"
Max and Emmy join the dragons in a game of "Pop the Bubble." It's great until Ord breaks the bucket. While Zak, Wheezie, Cassie and Emmy go to get a new bucket, Ord and Max stay behind and decide to blow bubbles using the nearby pond instead. There's lots of bubbles, but a bit too many and one gets so big that it forms around Ord and won't be popped! Nothing seems to do the trick and even Quetzal's big storybook doesn't have any answers. Max, Emmy and the dragon must observe things happening in the world around them for an inspiration to a possible solution.
When Emmy is annoyed by Max's silliness, they both seek a respite in Dragon Land, but Max finds nobody there is in the mood for games either. He just wants to play and goof off, but ends up ruining his dragon friends' craft creations for the Dragon Scale Festival.
"A Crown For Princess Kidoodle"
Emmy and Max are dressed snappily. They're going to watch Princess Kidoodle be crowned queen of the doodle fairies. While practicing for the royal parade, they come across Sir Doodle, a worker for Princess Kidoodle. He can't carry the crown because the wind is too strong for him to fly. Cassie's reluctant to carry it because she might drop it. Everyone decides to help and they take Sir Doodle with them. They navigate a series of obstacles to get there.
"Three's a Crowd"
Emmy's eager to go to Dragon Land to pick crystals with Cassie. She and Max go to Dragon Land. The rest of them fly a kite and Emmy and Cassie go off to pick the crystals. Quetzal approaches and introduces them to Nicki, a visiting dragon. Nicki has plans other than picking crystals. She has a dragon disc (frisbee) and wants to play with it. Emmy's excited about playing, but Cassie's bent on crystal picking. Emmy starts having lots of fun with the new dragon and Cassie disappointingly walks off to kite-fly with the others. Cassie solves their kite problem, but is still unhappy. Emmy's still not paying attention to her. Can she speak up and get what she wants?
"Blowin' in the Wind"
Max, Emmy, Ord, and Cassie meet a whistling wind named Windy who wants to be able to whistle and blow the clouds away just like her father, but doesn't know how to whistle (and neither do Max and Ord). So, Emmy and Cassie try to teach the three of them how to whistle.
Max is getting mad at everyone because he isn't getting his way during a game of a Dragon Land version of kickball, so he expresses his feelings through physical means. However, this is against the rules of the game. Can Quetzel teach Max a lesson in using his words?
