Ord: (talking with a mouth full of cake) This is the best birthday I've ever had!

Ord: (sounding like Sally Field) You like me! You really like me!

Ord: But they don't want to play with me, Quetzal. I already tried.

Emmy: Hi, Ord. What's up? Ord: I wasn't doing anything and I thought maybe you needed some help setting up your, uh... (observes empty treehouse)

Sid Sycamore: I'm rootin' for ya' kid!

Sid Sycamore: They just get up and leaf ya'!

Sid Sycamore: Hey, guy, what's with the sappy face? Ord: Huh? Who said that? Sid Sycamore: Don't be afraid. I bark, but I don't bite!

Wheezie: That's enough practice for today, huh Zaky? Zak: Boy, my lips are tired.

Wheezie: Oh, I just love surprise parties! They're so... (interrupted by Ord)

Max: (attempts to blow up balloon) Wow! I'm dizzy!

Cassie: Max, Emmy! I'm so glad it's you! I thought you were Ord.

Ord: (riding on Merry-Go-Round) This is fun, isn't it? Quetzal: Sí, I haven't done this since I was a niño myself.

Max: I don't want to practice! I hate knots! They're stupid.

Ord: Okay. I'll stay here and you'll fly up and get the others. Max: (tries to fly) Wait, I can't fly!

Quetzal: Over and under, it's easy to do, reach through the hole and pull it through.

Zak: (hearing Ord knock on treehouse door) That wasn't the secret knock. Sid: (whispering) It's Ord! Hide everything! (Max and Cassie give things to Wheezie, who is already holding the pizza.) Zak: (to Wheezie) Where are you gonna put that? (Wheezie throws everything into Zak's side of the pouch, and a squishing sound is heard) Zak: Eww! That feels gross!

Emmy: Where are you going, Max? Max: To tell mom I want a surprise birthday party next year. Emmy: But if you know it's a surprise party, then it won't be a surprise. Max: (thinks) Then you ask Mom for me! Mommy! Emmy has something to ask you!

Cassie: Did you remember to bring the snacks? Wheezie: Of course! (opens pizza box) Dragonberry and pepperoni, Ord's favorite. (throws pizza in the air) Zak: Wheezie, NO! Wheezie: (catches pizza) Ha! Worrywart!

Emmy: Don't worry little pony, Ord will pull you up! Ord: (tries, but cannot reach pony) I can't do it! Cassie: (worried) But no one else is strong enough! Zak: (freaking out) And if we try to climb down, we'll fall, and crash to the bottom, and break all our bones, and we'll-- (Wheezie covers his mouth.) Wheezie: There must be something we can do.

Wheezie: (riding merry-go-round) Whoa! Don't you just love going up and down and round and round, Zaky-Waky? Zak: (nauseous) Uhh..I think I'm gonna barfy-warfy!
