...and so I can watch with him or stare at the walls. So I watch.
It wouldn't be my first choice, and I'd never likely turn it on myself, but on occasion it is interesting.
Less interesting is the deal making or no deal decision making process. More interesting to me are the bits where they show the outcomes of the deals they have made. It amazes me what actually catches on, and how anyone would ever have insight into the success of some of the ventures.
But most interesting are the products or services they decline to fund and the founders go on to make gazillions! Then its, "yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus", and mostly I feel that way because of how pompous some of these guys were to the founders (and I would NEVER specifically name Kevin O'Leary beccause that would just be soooo....true...). It does my heart good to see a rich guy lose out...especially to someone as so in love with money as O'Leary himself claims to be. And I think the latter is why this will never be a show I will willingly dial in to...same as for the follow-up version: Shark Tank.moreless
