Drake is the youngest child out of his family. His parents divorced and Robin married her current husband, Roy, in 1995 and is now Drake's step father.

Drake has many musical influences that help him write his music. Such as The Beatles, The Who, The Ramones, The Clash, David Gray, Elvis Costello, and a lot more. These musical influences helped Drake write the songs on both of his albums. His first album is called Telegraph, which was released on September 27, 2005. Drake claims Telegraph to be the darker album of his. Drake's other album, called It's Only Time, was released on December 5, 2006. The songs on It's Only Time are a lot more cheerful and happy because Drake wrote them while he was recovering from his car crash in December of 2005, which caused him a broken neck (hairline frature), a broken jaw that had to be wired shut for three months, cuts on his face, knocked out teeth, and a two-and-a-half-inch-deep gash on his chin that Drake said he could stick his tongue through. In all, a total of over 2,000 stitches.

Drake began acting at age 5, but got into his first movie and television shows in 1995, at age 9. Drake got started in acting when his father, Joe Bell, asked him if he wanted to be an actor and Drake had said, "Sure". Drake's first film was called Drifting School and his first television role was in Tim Allen's Home Improvement. Some of Drake's other films include Jerry McGuire, The Jack Bull, High Fidelity, and many more. We best know Drake from the Nickelodeon series Drake and Josh and The Amanda Show. In 2008, Drake did a number of movies.
