Josh accidentally signs over creative control of Drake's new song to someone who wants to record it. Will Drake be able to get back control of his song? Mindy is assistant manager of the premiere and Josh and her fight over it because Josh has wanted that position for a long time.

Good episode. Lot of humor and it had a great plot that really made you want to see what was going to happen next. Josh setting things right for Drake was nice, too. Final grade for this episode is going to be an A+ from me. Just perfectmoreless
  • josh has to deal with the problems at the record company while also dealing with mindy as his boss; helen prepares to get married more and finally gets her wedding-although it is not how she pictured itmoreless

this part of the movie is a little more serious at parts especially since it contains the fight btw drake and josh but the fight still has hilarious moments..lol..and of course the seriousness at the record company until they get the deal of a lifetime..yay drake...i love how there are certain elements that are similar to the pilot (i guess b/c they thought this would be the end)..like him pulling him back in thru the window and their little fights lol..its funny..they start off w/ hug me brotha and then it turns into a little slap fight lol..but so awesome..i also love the fruit flies..helen's wedding was a catastrophe but josh's words were so true and amazing..also i think we get more crazy steve in this one..she'll be coming around the mountain when she comes part cracked me up..i loved it..then yay 2 josh he got to be assistant manager and drake finally got his record deal so everyone is happy lol..and we hear more of drake singing..and then i love the shrimp fight in the end..i actually didnt remember their original from the amanda show but i did some research and found it..and im like that is too funny..i still havent seen the whole thing on the amanda show but i look forward to doing that when i find it..but their shrimp fight at the end on dj was so hilarious and better than the 1 on the amanda show..so amazing that thats the reason they got their own showmoreless

This episode was about Josh messing up Drake song by not reading the contract. Mindy tells Josh how she really feels about him and they get back together. We learn that the song she'll be coming around the mountain calms down crazy steve. The guy confronts the boys about switching the songs. Even though they did something wrong, that was legal, they still got the original song that they wanted on the commerical for the shoes. Helen has her wedding out side and lets Drake sing his song. When it rains at there wedding Helen gets all up set at everyone.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (7)

    • The shoe commercial had the shoes from Daka shoes. These shoes were on iCarly in the episode called iPromote Techfoots.

    • When Megan is playing oboe at the end when Helen is walking down the aisle, there is an oboe, a flute, and a guitar. Is it just me, or has the flute audio been replaced by a clarinet?

    • This is the first time that the show actually shows Megan playing the oboe, although there have been numerous times where she was gone because of oboe practice.

    • Helen's wedding is a traditional Jewish wedding. The song that is playing while she is walking down the isle in the theater, is the traditional song for a Christian wedding. It would not be played at a Jewish wedding.

    • In the end when Drake is playing his song, you can hear the other instruments playing. How can you hear the other instruments if the instruments aren't even there?

    • At the end of the movie, Drake & Josh fight over the last shrimp. Then they showed a flashback from a segment on The Amanda Show where Drake & Josh previously worked, and it shows Drake & Josh fighting over a shrimp on the floor. They said that the segment was the main idea for a future show called, Drake & Josh.

    • When you see the names of the movies outside of the Premier movie theater, it shows a movie called "February Fourth", which was the day of the Super Bowl this year, which is also the event where Drake's song aired on a commercial in the movie.

  • QUOTES (8)

  • NOTES (2)

  • ALLUSIONS (3)

    • The movie poster with the title, Blue Legume, is a reference to the movie, Blue Lagoon.

    • Josh: Wanna get back together?
Mindy: Ok, but I get to be the girlfriend.

This is an allusion to the episode, Mindy's Back, in which Josh and Mindy gets together, and Josh says, "I get to be the boyfriend!"

    • Before the scene with Crazy Steve saying "Cock-a-doodle-do" and "The cow says moo", you can see the list of movies playing at the premiere. One of the movies was called Four Great Seasons. This is obviously referring to the four seasons of Drake and Josh. Also, there's a movie called She's Carly Now, referring to the new show with Miranda Cosgrove (Megan) called iCarly.
