    • TRIVIA (3)

      • Matthew Perry who plays a memorably slimy Alex in this episode went on to find greater fame as "Chandler Bing" in Bright-Crane-Kauffman's other, more celebrated, show "Friends." Perry also starred in 1987's short-lived "Second Chance" (and it's revamped, renamed verision "Boys Will be Boys"), the short lived 1990 show "Sydney" (Craig Bierko also starred on this show, and apparently, was asked to play "Chandler" in "Friends"), and the short lived 1993 show titled "Home Free."

Perry directed and acted in the November 2004 episode "My Unicorn" of "Scrubs."

      • Jessica Tuck, "Skylar" in this episode, had a supporting role in the 2002 Steven Shainberg S&M comedy Secretary. Tuck starred in "The Last Frontier," "One Life to Live" (1988-1992) and currently stars in "Judging Amy."

      • Jenifer Lewis starred in "Courthouse," "The PJs," and currently stars in "Strong Medicine."

    • QUOTES (0)

    • NOTES (2)

      • Martin attempts to trick Alex into publishing a thinly veiled copy of Hawthorne's classic work "The Scarlet Letter."

      • Martin's post credits message: 'If you're interested in reading 'The Scarlet Letter', I'm sure you can find a copy of it at your local library. Goodnight everybody!'
Original UK airdate: October 26, 1996
