  • This was the best episode of Green Screen, so far.

    10
So far, I'd have to say that this was the funniest Green Screen episode I've ever seen. I especially liked "Sound Effects" with the running gag about the moose air-horn. I also loved the little "monologue" that Greg does in the end. However, I wanted to see more of Colin, for obvious reasons. But at least his faint jokes made a comeback in this episode.

    • (In Sound Effects)
Brad: (After Meridith makes the sound for the conveyer belt) We tried to replace it with a Pac-Man Machine but it's not working.

    • (in Moving People)
Greg: I'm doing the St. Whiner's Day dance! Where I have no contol over my body whatso-f*****g-ever! I move willy-nilly! I'm unpredictable! There's no telling where I'm going next! Try to catch me, you! Just try to catch me! Here I go!
Jeff: I'd catch you if I moved more than once every half-hour myself!

    • (in New Choice)
Colin: I'm sure many of you are wondering, what the heck is the woodchipper doing here?
      Jeff: New choice!
Colin: I'm sure you're wondering, 'Hey, what's with the male ballet dancer?'
      Jeff: New choice!
Colin: I'm sure many of you are wondering, 'Hey, there's nothing there!' Yes!
      Brad: 'Cause it's over here!

    • (in Sound Effects, Jeff is bringing a plane in, Eric makes plane noises)
Jeff: It's being flown by a bear!
      (Meredith growls)
      Brad: He's grindin' the gears!

    • (in Game Show, Kathy's character has been put in the bee tube)
Kathy: I was just wondering what i would win by being in here?
Brad: Oh, you have no chance of winning!
      (Kathy runs away, Greg buzzes)
      Greg: Reluctant Contestant Syndrome?
      Brad: Yes!

    • (after 'Moving People,' in which Greg's mover was quite active)
Drew: Anybody have any questions while we're stopped for a minute?
      Greg: Yeah!
      Drew: Yeah?
Greg: Is that guy on a work furlough program? 'Cause he seems to haven't have had human contact in quite some time. Hey, could that guy come out and beat the sh** out of me for a while longer? That was great!
Jeff: Kids, those are show business terms.
Greg: Oh are there children here? Terrific!
Drew: Yeah. Right in the center.
Greg: Have you ever seen a grown man fondle another grown man that much? I love the feeling of a man's hands alllllllllllllll over my body. I don't know when I've ever felt that manipulated. Now you know how Pinocchio felt. That was no Pleasure Island, my friend. Have you ever had your floating rib manipulated? Reminds me of how I got on the show, Drew!

  • NOTES (1)

    • Probably the only time that "Moving People" is played on the Green Screen Show. According to Drew Carey, it was this game that inspired the Green Screen Show, not "Newsflash" as many believe. He thought it would be interesting to see "Moving People" without seeing the people who are moving the improvers. It almost works here because the volunteers are wearing blue clothes so that they can almost be easily removed.
