  • I like the fact that they have rules in an illegal street race.

I think this show is awesome. They are making it better and better. I think this race is going to be really long. This episode I guess is where the actual race begins. They pulled up inside an outisde movie thearter and it showed them clips from previous races. Then the screen showed the rules of the race and how to get a jumpstart. So now they have to find this next clue. "Surender, America" which I guess is some place in Tennesee.

This show is going to be longer than expected. If they keep writting it with as much intensity as they have been.
  • This is the episode that hooked me!

I like the way the characters are developing on this show. But seeing Nathan Fillian in this episode reminded me so much of the character I loved in Firefly!

If only we can find a way to make Fox understand they have a hit here, if they will give it a chance!
  • Georgia on mind Mind!

When In Rome Georgia, do what the Romans do? You know the reast. That why I'm finding the car chasing scenes the most exciting in the series. It' better than all the silly talkm inside the car. My first favorite character in the series has emerged. He name is Melanie Lyneskey and she plays a sweet, sweet character. the race for the $32 Million is cash continue though the state of Georgia where it's the home of CNN. You didn't know that? I know it for many years. Next week, more action to spare. And I'm not talking about Seinfeld's Elaine sparing a square.
  • I have to admit much better than I thought but it's a bit predictable when it comes to the characters and what they are all about, minus the shadowy past of Nathon Fillions character. But I ALREADY hate the blonde who ditched the 2 black woman!

First why does the latino have to b a sterio typical lowrider w/ a record, and its a bit wierd that he is hanging out w/ his half brother who has led a privaliged life so he is quiet different from him. I know the black woman who looks like whoopi will b killed off soon since she is not on the credits, but the blonde was wrong for ditching the two black woman who she supposedly met while being a hero/exploiter during Katrina for a crazy woman who just tried to kill her and it made me even more mad when everyone seemed to get to the checkpoint except the two black woman and they were just sitting there looking stupid. They need more diversity on this show w/ GOOD characters, I know its a reflection of the times but after these last few seasons of my favorite shows doing this kind of stuff(Lost, 24, Smallville) It makes me not want to watch nothing but movies and cable and thats too bad b/c these shows all need the ratings they can get.

ok so wow...some major twists were thrown at us...Tully use to be a wheel man...WHAT!!!!!! he was just a landscaper from nebraska...and the new car is freaking awesome...but i wonder what happen for him to just get out of the business and maybe his partner are the one who got him into the race...i dont know but dang...and Rob is starting to wonder why he hasnt been contacted by the army since all this bad stuff is going down in Iraq...its only a matter of time before he finds out that his wife has been lying to him and then stuff is really going to hit the fan...and winston didnt look to happy when his brother got the bounty hunter to bring him back...but i loved when violet was teaching her dad to lie that was to cool even though he's pretty much lying to her know...this was definately a good episode and a great way to start out a new series...hope there all like this.
  • Wow what I love about this show.

Firstly I love the Google earth effects, how the camera pans down from a satellite position to a building or car.

Secondly the interaction between each race partner, an ex con looking for his wife teaming up with a mystery female who’s parents died in a previous race, a slightly strange and introvert women who is racing to save her new born son teaming with another slightly strange but extrovert women, a father who’s got one year to live and his feisty teenage daughter who doesn’t know about his condition, two brothers from completely different backgrounds but the same father trying to bond, and a marine and his wife who’s trying to get him from returning to Iraq.

Thirdly the mystery and unexpected twists with each episode, not knowing who’s employed with the race and how they are trying to motivate each contestant.

Fourthly the mystery to each of the contestants backgrounds and why some are in the race.

And fifth the car chase/race scenes along the motorways or interstates as there called in the U.S....

Cannot wait for next weeks to find out what they are all being shown on the big screen.

The plot does indeed thicken in this, the 3rd episode, of Drive. What started out well enough in the previous 2-episode premiere (introductions for a wide cast of characters were handled well enough) gets even more intriguing in this episode. We learn of a secret past of our main character Alex Tully (played by Nathan Fillion, who after only 3 episodes has got my attention as true leading-man material), who was exposed by a police offer (who was in fact, not a cop but an employee of “them”, being the people behind the entire race). It will be interesting to see how deep his past life really goes, and what implications it will have on the race. The rest of the supporting cast to me takes a backseat to the trials and tribulations of Tully. Although every one has mildly intriguing stories of their one, the ones I’ve focused on are Tully, Wendy Patrakas (played wonderfully by Melanie Lynskey, she mixes the right amount of innocence and brashness into her character) and Winston Salazar (who’s father just might have some association with “them”). And the closing shot of the theater screen counting down was a perfect way to end the episode. Overall, this series is getting off to a good start and I hope FOX keeps it around.
  • I really enjoyed that!

One revelation after another, after another, after another! The only hing happening more and more then the revelations is the new mysteries! Right now, it's fun and it's enjoyable for each and every single person that they meet along the way to not be who they seem. It's fun for each person driving to have a major secret that even their partner doesn't know yet, but we slowly get a glimpse of at home. But eventually, it's going to get real old, and that'll have to slow down a bit, so that things are dropped as tasty little tidbits. Otherwise, it'll just get predictable. But for now, ride that trian while it's good. Because it's very very good.

I like how all the drivers have dark secrets, but what surprised me the most was that Alex used to be a getaway driver and he has a really bad past. I is weired though how that guy just gave him his car but I suppose the people who are running this thing will do some more strange things in the near future. Something I don't get is when thoses people were walking towards Corrina why didn't they just shoot her when Alex came along? That car of Alex's the Dodge Challenger that was so sweet and it was really funny how he just drove by like everybody on the highway. He has a better chance at winning now that he has the car. What I really like about this show is that it keeps you guessing like this episode had a bit of a cliffhanger. I can't wait until next week's all new episode. Later...

I thought the ending couple of minutes were good, though I saw the writing take a small decline in this episode. I dont like how the writers made all of the racers be right next to each other during the final stages of the race, it didnt make any sense to me. Rob and his girlfriend easily had a 100 mile lead and I dont think that there small detour with the phone would have blown that. No matter how you look at it, five teams arriving at the same location 600 miles later all at the same time is just too weird, they need to expand the deadline and have some teams arrive hours later. Learning about Tulleys backstory was interesting, we know now that he had some kind of a past lfie, though what that contians at the moment is still a bit of a mytsery. The Salazars also got a chunck of air time in this one, with Sean rescuing his brother when he was taken into custody. Overall I thought the episode was good, but with just the writing taking a small hit in this episode.
  • I'm still not sure weather I like this show or not, but I do know they always leave you hanging at the end so you can't wait till the next episode

There have been a few things I thought they didn't need, like all that extra stuff that guy giving him the car all the crazy secret stuff, but then again, that is what might end up making it iteresting, again I'm still not sure. It does have a Lost kind of mystery to it which I like, I wish they would show more of the racing though. I know you can only show so much driving before people watching are going to be like "are we there yet" but they should show more action. I do like the whole thing with these people who they don't know who they are, but I just hope they don't go to far with it and make it the whole story instead of the race itself, as long as they keep the mixture this show will be a pretty good show to watch.
  • Great potential and hopefully will find its audience.

The show has great potential to be the breakout hit that happened to Grey Anatomy two years ago. As it has great and witty writing and acting. Tully must breakout of jail despite not doing wrong as he is the victim of a corrupt police force. Meanwhile the dad has recovered from his heart attack and wants to join a final race as he has a year to live.
  • Quite the twist huh? Betcha didn't see that coming...This series has potential.

Man, Drive has started with a bang, quite the series. I have to say I was skeptical, seriously it's FOX; I have faith in Nathan Fillion, he'll make this series good...he's got enough charisma to carry the show (no matter how long it lasts) Speaking of, how about the twist in this episode, Tully is a wheel-man...with a dark past. Starting with the twists quick,I love it. I had to clean my shorts when I saw that Challenger, oh boy, that car was so sweet. I have to say I'm hooked...and man, I can't wait for the next episode.
