Driving Miss Daisy is a 1992 television series that aired on CBS. It was an attempt to follow up on the blockbuster success of the movie of the same name and the Pulitzer Prize winning play. The series stars Robert Guillaume in the role of Hoke Colburn, the chauffeur. The series met controversial protest early on for what rights groups considered an unfair depiction of an African-American. The series did not extend past its first season.
