  • A teenager with daydreams of robots finds out his visions are a parallel world.

    8.5
A great show all around. Dual has many similarities to "Tenchi Muyo" (though not quite as good). The characters are wacky and the dialogue is choked full of innuendo. It is a nice change of pace between two anime extremes Ninja Scroll / Dark and Pokemon / Kiddy. The romantic comedy aspect is the most prominent feature of this little series. Die hard Sci-Fi fans maybe a little disappointed. Not as well written as Tenchi but worth the price of admissionmoreless
  • An excellent (and often hilarious anime!

    8.9
Dual! Is an excellent Anime through and through. It is a great anime for both fans of Shows like Gundam Wing and fans of shows like FLCL. It somehow easily streamlines from intense action to scenes of madness that could only come from an anime of this excellence. The plotline can be a bit wacky sometimes due to the funny dialog mixed with solemn scenes, but this only makes it all the sweeter when you figure out what is going on (Quite like other shows such as .Hack). All in all, I would recommend this to any anime fan looking for a good bit of action mixed with some hilarious dialog! It is quite a pity that I\'ve only sen it show up on the old Tech TV, and it dissapeared ever since.moreless
  • Not just another Mecha anime!!

    8.8
After watching the first episode, it starts out with an interesting premise. I find the idea of a parallel universe, quite intruiging. Though, many considered this to be a mecha anime, it revolved more on love among the characters. The characters is the main reason I enjoyed this show so much.
  • a great show with great action

    8.0
Dual is one of the better anime shows that has been produced in the last few years. Incorporating great storylines, action, animation, and voice acting, this show is great fun for anyone to watch kids or adults. the animation for the show will look familiar to viewers of the old toonami block of cartoon network as it is closely modeled after the Tenchi series which shares Duals producers. While the storyline may be a bit confusing at times, the action makes up for it. the only real problem with the series is that like many other great anime series like Soultaker, Dual lasted only one season and one bonus episode leaving only 14 episodes for the series.moreless
