I think it would be awesome if they made a Duck Dodgers movie! I'm a HUGE fan of Commander X-2 & I think Duck dodgers is halarious! I'm alread making a comic book about Duck dodgers! The episode is called "The Fight is On!" It has two parts, but I'm not done yet. But I'm enjoying myself, making it!

I actually wouldn't be surprised if WB decided to do that.

    (Advance apologies for length)

Do I think this would be a great idea? If it's done right, yes.

Do I think WB management would be interested in doing another Looney Tunes movie after "Back in Action" bombed? Judging from the fact nearly everything related to the gang disappeared almost immediately afterward, I'm not terribly confident.

I agree on both counts, rather begrudgingly on the second though. A Duck Dodgers movie would be fantastic, but the reality is that it wasn't a big enough show when it was on to warrant a movie (unless it was of the made for TV variety). Bear in mind that it took almost 20 years for a Simpsons film to be made, and other hugely successful cartoon TV shows still haven't gotten movies yet (Family Guy). South Park is an exemption, and Futurama got multiple straight to DVD movies, but both at their worst were tremendously more popular than Duck Dodgers ever was.

Personally, I'd focus on hoping for a Duck Dodgers DVD set instead. It's a more realistic thing to hope for.

If they got the right guest stars and could get M. Dorn back.

I think they had already started working on a Duck Dodgers movie of sorts years ago (not sure if it was for theatrical release of not) before they decided to make it into a tv series instead. I remember seeing a behind the scenes clip that showed some preliminary pencil tests and at least one finished scene that looked a lot higher quality than the tv show. Actually a lot of those pencil test clips were recycled and used during the opening intro credits.

I'd love if that was finished and released, even if only straight to video. I'd totally buy the hell out of it!
