      • (Dodgers is strapped to the tickle torture chamber) Skunderbelly: With this device, you will find a new definition to joy and laughter as you are slowly tickled within a thousand years. (The thugs activate the device and feathers tickle all parts of Dodgers, but he's not laughing) DD: Uh, I'm not ticklish. Does that matter? Skunderbelly: What? Not even on your feet? (He sees the feathers tickling Dodger's feet and he's still not laughing) Fine. I guess I'll have to think of a new way to torture you forever.

      • DD: (to Hungortus) Your Hungryness, the question isn't whether you should eat Earth or not. You shouldn't. No, the question is when are you gonna eat Mars, and how can we help ya!

      • Flame Valet:(to Counselor Combustion) Mom thinks you're an awful daughter! Counselor Combustion: You'd know. You call her five times a day. Martian Commander: What's wrong with that?

      • DD: (to Flame Valet) Remembering people's names when you meet them is a sign of weakness. The only name worth remembering is your own.

      • DD: (to Flame Valet) Donald Trump, Lou Ferrigno, that "Knight Rider" car, me. All winners share certain traits like selfishness, arrogance and great teeth!

      • X-2: (to Centurion) I don't trust this Counselor Combustion. Centurion: Why? Because she's a lawyer? Or because you're threatened by powerful, independent women?

      • Hungortus: Galactus
Hungortus, in appearance and concept, is an obvious parody of the Fantastic Four villain, Galactus. They even used the Herald idea, who was originally the Human Torch, whose duty was to find Galactus desirable planets to eat.

      • Martian Commander: I have a delightful crab puff recipe I found in Redbook! Redbook is a popular magazine geared toward young women and working mothers. It features articles dealing with fashion, beauty and health, food and nutrition, parenting and relationships.
