      • One of the scenes in Dodgers' film is of him walking through the martian desert, with the promise that the Martian Queen wants to make him King of Mars. This really happened to Dodgers in the episode "To Love a Duck." However, Dodgers dismisses the idea as ridiculous here.

      • Dodgers asks if a scene in the movie involves him quitting his job as a space captain and entering the food business. In a later episode "Duck Departure", Dodgers does indeed quit the Protectorate and enters the food service.

      • Vermin: Where's the kabloie? There has to be a kabloie.
        A variation of X-2's line from the classic Looney Tunes cartoons, which is, "Where's the kaboom? There's suppose to be an earth shattering kaboom?"

      • DD & Cadet: Afraid of a little fire scarecrow? / I love the Wizard of Oz!
        In the scene where Dodgers and Cadet are battling the space dragon, Dodgers whips out a laser and waves it in front of the dragon to scare it. When he backs up, Dodgers quotes the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz, with Cadet following up on how much he loved the movie.
