Duck Dodgers Season 2 Episode 9

Some of the characters that Dodgers turns himself into while trying to restore his original image are Beaky Buzzard and Mutley.

Scamwise
One of Dodgers and Cadet's companions in the internet RPG, Scamwise, is an obvious spoof of Samwise Gamgee from the book and movie trilogy, Lord of the Rings.

Gopher: He has to run out of other people's catch phrases sooner or later.
Duck Dodgers uses the following catch phrases:

"I hates you meeces to pieces!" - Mr. Jinks the cat from Pixie & Dixie.
"Come back here, you wascally wodents!" - Elmer Fudd from The Bugs Bunny Show, though Elmer is usually talking to a "wascally wabbit" rather than "wodents".
"Klondike Kat always gets his mouse!" - Klondike Kat from Underdog.

DD: Why, I've got manure flowing through my veins. I'm a regular Luther Burbank.
Luther Burbank was apparently a famous horticulturist in the late 19th and early 20th century from Santa Rosa, California. Don't worry, kids, I didn't know who that was either, before I looked it up.

DD: Uh, either that, or maybe I watched an old episode of "Green Acres."
Music very similar to the theme song from Green Acres plays while Duck Dodgers is farming.

DD: Shades of Ray Harryhausen.
Ray Harryhausen is known for stop-motion animation special effects in such movies as King Kong and Jason and the Argonauts, the latter which features fighting skeletons similar to the ones Duck Dodgers encounters in the game.

Title: MMORPD
MMORPD is similar to MMORPG which stands for 'Massive multiplayer online role playing game.' One of these games is Ragnarok.

Character: Master Scamwise of the Wee People
He is a parody of Frodo's best friend Master Samwise from Lord of the Rings.

DD: It is I, Lord Araprone the Stumbler!
A pun off of Aragorn of the Dunedain from the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

DD: Loved your work in The Wizard of Oz!
In The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy and Scarecrow tried to pick apples from a bunch of grumpy, talking trees.

DD: Yoinks and away! If I remember correctly, this doesn't end well!
In the old WB cartoon, Robin Hood Daffy would say "Yoinks and away!" just before crashing into tree after tree.
