In the scene where Dodgers proposes that they all be a family, he puts a blond wig on X-2's head. Over his helmet, parts of it can be seen sticking out. In the next pan, the wig is still present, but his helmet is completely absent.
X-2: But I'm ... I'm ... I'm scared of heights!
DD: Now, listen here, buster! The Fudd has got us down. We're in a tight spot! And things look bleak for our side. It's the bottom of the ninth, and it's all up to you! So you're going to clamber up that rickety ladder to yonder heights, and you're gonna be scared, plenty scared. But you're gonna do it for the Gipper!
X-2: For the Gipper! (He runs and starts climbing, then pauses) Who's the Gipper?
Elmer: Uh ... shouldn't I be hunting wabbits?
DD: (thinking to himself) Hmm. Maybe if I stare at this piece of paper long enough, people will think I can read.
We learned that Duck Dodgers can't read and that Martian Commander X-2 was afraid of heights.
When affected by the Fudd, anyone would continuously laugh just like the original Elmer Fudd would.
The people who were victims of the Fudd are Captain Long, Lieutenant O'Hara, IQ High, The Martian Queen and many others.
This episode is "Chapter: 37.78".
The Fudd is a reference to the Flood, villains in the Halo series of video games. The Mother Fudd is a reference to Gravemind, the leader of the Flood.
Elmer: Should't I be hunting wabbits?
This famous line is said by Elmer everytime he goes hunting for Bugs Bunny.
Singing in the Rain
When the Cadet jumps down from Fudd's head after dancing on it, he says "Got'ta dance". This is a quote from the famous musical "Singing in the rain"
n/a: Lieutenant O'Hara
In the Batman (1966) series, there was a character named Lieutenant O'Hara.
Whole episode: The whole episode
The concept of "The Fudd" is based on the Star Trek species The Borg. The one mind concept, the look, and the conversion are the same as the Borg
X-2, Cadet, and DD:
X-2: Are you sure this will work?
Cadet: I've seen it work before.
DD: Oh yeah? Where?
Cadet: Th-Th-Th-The Wizard of Oz.
X-2: Who's that?
DD: Um, he was one of our greatest military tacticians, you know. If ever there ever a wiz there was?
The Mother Fudd's ship contains millions of Fudd clones all marching, dressed up like and chanting like the guards at the Wicked Witch's castle. Cadet remembers the movie, The Wizard of Oz and suggests that they pull off the same stunt, disguising themselves as guards. Dodgers also tries to fool X-2 into thinking that the Wizard of Oz was one of Earth's greatest military tactitians, and later turns to tell us that there is no copyright infringements since they're doing a tribute.
X-2: My father once dangled me off a balcony just to impress the paparazzi in "Lookie News!"
Duck Dodgers is hanging X-2 upside down high in the air, threatening to drop him. X-2 panics and explains that he has a fear of heights because of a time when his father dangled him over a balcony. This is an obvious reference to the time when Michael Jackson dangled his baby son over a hotel balcony in Berlin in November 2002.
