IF they would treat Launchpad decently, I would LOVE that. And they'd make an embarrassingly large amount of money off of merchandiing him.

    I SHOULD LIVE SO LONG!

I didn't hear about that, I don't know if Disney thinks it's still profitable.

You would have to find someone else for Glomgold since Hal Smith is dead.

Thank you. Like there is a shortage of unemployed actors who are willing and able to do voices for cartoons.

Because Disney doesn't believe its profitable seeing as the first film only grossed $18 million

ONLY? And this was 20 years ago when a million was still "real money"? And that's not counting foriegn distrubution, vcr tapes, dvds...I bet!

And the "only" was due to the fact that "lost lamp" was not that great a movie (sorry! It wasn't!), not due to any lack of popularity of "Ducktales".

Sounds like it's worth at least a strigth to dvd sequel to ME.

But if you're going to make Launchpad look like a dope, skip it.

I must admit to NOT understanding how billion-dollar corp.s make decisions. They're NOT making a sequel of a movie that netted a 'mere" 18 million, but they are going international with a musical that shall remain nameless, that after 2 years on broadway had just BROKE EVEN. Huh?

A straight to video sequel would sounds more reasonable, but I still think its not going to happen.

Even if they did make a CGI Ducktales movie, it would probably suck, unless it's being made by Pixar. Disney does not really do a good job at making CGI movies, especially with Chicken Little which sucked monkey butt.

It would be very interesting to see the DuckTales characters in CGI (although I have seen most of the ducks in CGI in one Christmas movie and video game cutscenes). I'd love to see Mrs. Beakley and Duckworth in CGI.

I'd prefer regular animation to cgi, but I would still be interested in what a computer-generated Duck Tales would be like. Just that the show would exist would be the main thing that matters.
