Yes we keep on waiting, waiting, and waiting for an answer because Disney is too rude and disrespectful to their fans by making us wait and wait.

Since they're releasing the episodes by production order, it's only logical that the pilot finds its way onto the second set, unless they deliberatly skip it.

I'm hoping that if Volume 2 ever materializes, we get the rest of season one (38 episodes) on four discs. Same with Rescue Rangers, they might as well. I know for a fact that it's not impossible to fit ten episodes onto a DVD, as Ninja Turtles has a 13 episode disc out there. Yes, I'm aware that with an extra disc, this would cost more than the first volume, but us fans will pay the extra money to get what we want.

Here's what I hope we get, based on what we have so far.

Disc 1 (picking up from volume 1)
    28. Back to the Klondike
    29. Horse Scents
    30. Scrooge's Pet
    31. A Drain in the Economy
    32. A Whale of a Bad Time
    33. Aqua Ducks
    34. Working For Scales
    35. Merit-Time Adventure
    36. The Golden Fleecing (not sure if this comes before or after the pilot in production order.)

    Disc 2
    37. Don't Give Up the Ship
    38. Wrongway in Ronguay
    39. Three Ducks of the Condor
    40. Cold Ducks
    41. Too Much of a Gold Thing
    42. Ducks of the West
    43. Time Teasers
    44. Back in the Outback
    45. Raiders of the Lost Harp

    Disc 3
    46. The Right Duck
    47. Scroogerello
    48. Double-O-Duck
    49. Luck 'o the Ducks
    50. Duckworth's Revolt
    51. Magica's Magic Mirror / Take Me Out of the Ballgame
    52. Duck to the Future
    53. Jungle Duck
    54. Launchpad's First Crash
    55. Dime Enough For Luck

    Disc 4
    56. The Duck in the Iron Mask
    57. The Uncrashable Hindentanic
    58. The Status Seeker
    59. Nothing to Fear
    60. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. McDuck
    61. Once Upon a Dime
    62. Spies in Their Eyes
    63. All Ducks on Deck
    64. Duck Horror Picture Show
    65. 'Til Nephews Do Us Part

As far as I know, it's in order of Air date AND the Pilot came long before the episodes, becuase it was originaly ment to be a Telemovie before they decided to expand the concept into a series.

Thats right, Golden Suns was produced first, and aired first.

I don't know why people get Chip 'n' Dale and DuckTales pilots confused with each other.

Yes CDRR's pilot was produced later in the series, but DuckTales' Golden Suns was produced even before DuckTales was made into a series, it was made into a series after the Golden Suns.

I just remember that when I watched the show in reruns a few years ago, they would air them in the same order listed on this site, EXCEPT that the Golden Suns arc aired between The Golden Fleecing and Ducks of the West.

That doesn't make sense to air them in that order!

Here are two scans of The Wonderful World of Disney Television, In this book it details the DuckTales series

That's a great suggestion!!! I doubt they will do it like that but who knows. With my second fav Disney toon "TaleSpin" fianlly being released in August along with "Darkwing Duck" maybe Disney will release a bigger set next time and shock many!!!!

In it's original 2 hour movie format, not the 1 hour of Sliced 'N Diced episodes.

I want it in the format I and most people originally saw it in which is the five part miniseries format. It builds up a lot more suspense with the cliffhangers and I heard that the miniseries is the movie uncut. Correct me if I'm wrong though. The movie version would be better than nothing but I'd be disappointed if they decided to release it in its movie format!!!

Well I won't be completely satisfied unless it is in multiparter format. That's how Gargoyles the Movie was done. It was split as the first five episodes of the series and they were on the Gargoyles Season One DVD with commentary!!!! Why Disney didn't put the pilot on Volume One still makes no sense to me??? Were they that stupid to think that that wouldn't upset fans??? Disney needs to quit making halfway sets and 3 episode DVDs and treat their fans with respect. You can't tell me there was nothing available as bonus features for DuckTales Volume One!!!!
