I'm glad that ScroogeMcD has added this topic.  Yes please let us know what you all think of the new DVD!  I should be getting my set sometime this week from Amazon.  I preordered it on Aug. 25th and I already know the episodes here are ten times betetr than Volume One in plot alone!

Certainly every last episode of Volume One had something appealing but some of the plots dragged and weren't as interswting as they could be.  This was evident on Disc 1 and through the first half of Disc Two.  Fortunately though Disc Three holds the msot exciting episodes of the set.  Yes I could watch all the episodes multiple times but Disc Three is the most entertaining.  Now if the picture quality had been upped along with the sound all the episodes would have been more enjoyable to watch.  Volume One deserves a 3 out of 5.

Now with Volume Two having the pilot (hopefully all five episodes are inatct!) and the Scrooge vs. Glomgold four parter "Catch As Cash Can" Volume Two easily tops Volume One already!  I wonder why there are only 24 episodes on this set instead of 27 on the last one???  At least now we can watch the pilot and go back and watch Volume One and say we have the episodes in airdate order!!!  Let us know what you think of the set!!!!

I'm sorry that you have to wait so long to get your copy Mike. I just heard on Amazon that unfortuantely you can only skip to the next chapter on the Play All feature. That doesn't make much sense. Well at least my rewind and fast forward button works!!! Not even the TaleSpin and Darkwing Duck sets featured any type of Chapters so i ahd to use my rewind and fast forward buttons!

What episodes are on what discs, tone-master? I can't really read from the blurry photo (no offense). Also, are the multi-parters listed as "Part 1, Part 2," and not by the seperate titles. Just curious.

Hi gang, It's been a while!

Great to see that Volume 2 is out, though sadly I probably won't get it until after christmas, unless someone buys it me for christmas.

Apparently the episodes are uncut and feature scenes intact that were stupidly cut on the recent TV airings.

Anyway looking forward to readin what you guys think of it.

Wow Tone thanks for the screenshot pictures!  Very cool that they used Atlantis as a background for Disc 3!!!  "Aqua Ducks" is one of the greatest episodes of the series!!!  Though "Catch As Cash Can" is not on that DVD!!!  So shouldn't it be on Disc 2???  It looks like they put a lot more detail into the menus than Volume One!!!  I'm really looking forward to watching this on DVD very soon!!!

    Main Dvd Box:

This is what the back of the main Dvd box says, since it's a little blurry:

The world's wealthiest duck is back for more thrills and laughs in the second installment of Disney's DuckTales. Scrooge McDuck may have an uncanny knack for making money, but he's over his head trying to keep up with nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie. Along with their friends Launchpad McQuack, Gyro Gearloose, Mrs. Beakley and Webby Vanderquack, the DuckTales gang crisscrosses the globe in an never-ending search for adventure.

Whether battling other-worldly plant creatures, being mistaken for an international super-spy or racing to find a lost treasure ship, Scrooge and the rest of the crew never lose sight of the fact that true friendship is the greastest fortune of them all.  And, for the first time on DVD see how it all began with the five-part pilot episode "Treasure Of The Golden Suns."

Experience some of the most memorable DuckTales adventures ever made in this three-disc set. It's a wealth of fun and adventure that you and your family can bank on .

True, but for me personally I haven't much choice because I live in the UK.

Thanks a lot for posting the larger pics of the back of the cases. I enjoyed reading them! It feels good to see the words Treasure of the Golden Suns on these cases and in uncut form on the DVD! At least that's my understanding. How is the picture and sound quality next to the first volume??? Thanks a lot! I'm really looking forward to Luke's review of Volume Two on www.ultimatedisney.com!!!
