I forgot what episode it was, but it was the one where he was telling the story on how he became rich. In the story, Scrooge seemed like the only child in his family coz his brothers and sisters were never mentioned or seen. If he had no siblings, then how can he become an uncle?

No, according to Don Rosa scrooge Definatly has siblings, his two sisters Hortense and Matilda. Hortense maried Quackmore Duck and they had Donald, and both of them have VERY short tempers. Donald's sister Della maried somebody (We Don't Know Who) and had HDL.

If you've read the Don Rosa's comics, you may know a lot of those characters. But as I've read none, I really only know the DuckTales characters and the famous Rosa characters

Anybody know if there is a big difference in Scrooge's age and his sisters' age? If he is the youngest or the oldest (actually, I assume the former since he is the only one left), he may have been the only kid at home.

Which makes HDL Mr. Mcduck's grand-nephews, not his nephews.

It was *Carl Barks* who thought up Scrooge's sisters Hortense and Mathilda, he just never used them in a comic. Rosa's 'Life and times of Scrooge McDuck' is an entertaining story, but to me, it only remains his view on the Barks' stories, plus he has left out important clues about Scrooge's past (like Scrooge being scared from a certain old lady named Miss Penny Wise who is, according to Scrooge, *the only one* who could ruïn him, because he has a debt with her).
