Which episode is the one where Scrooge thinks he's dying? You know, the one that TaleSpin copied.

Yup, Ducktales was the first show ever to exist after television was invented and then came Talespin. Besides the fact that they both thought they were dying the episodes are nothing alike moreso than the the ducktales episode is alike whomever they stole the idea from...

Actually, "the Flintstones' did a similiar episode in which the gang thinks Fred is dying while it's Dino that sick with a disease that's harmless to dinosaurs but fatal to humans.

plagerism is essential to all culture.

I remember on one Simpsons episode where Rogey Myer, the owner of Itchy and Scratchy, was accused of plagarizing the original I+S work. He made a speech on how various TV shows copied each other.

Talespin copied another Ducktales episode, can't quite place the name of it....

That was Allowance Day, in which the nephews tricked Scrooge into thinking it was Saturday so they could get their allowance early to buy a scooter. Of course, their plan backfired when this started a chain reaction in which everyone thought it was Saturday, leading to utter chaos. The situation was cleared up when an eclipse was scheduled to appear on Friday as it was supposed to.

The TaleSpin episode that copied this was The Time Bandit. Here, Baloo tricks Becky into thinking it's Saturday so he can get his paycheck early. The same amount of chaos occurs from the mass confusion over what day it is and they need the appearance of Cleanser's Comet (mock of the product Comet Cleanser for kitchen sinks if you get that pun) to prove it's really Friday.

Time Bandit's was written by the same people who wrote DuckTales Allowance Day Ken Koonce and David Weimers.

The episode where Scrooge thinks he's dying is "Scrooge's Last Adventure," in which he goes to the doctor for a checkup while his nephews accidentaly break his grandfather clock and secretly take it to a clock maker/fixer guy so Scrooge won't know it was broken. When Scrooge gets home he gets a phone call from the clock guy (but he thinks it's the doctor he saw earlier), who says his ticker won't last much longer. He means the clock but Scrooge thinks he means his heart, so he thinks he's going to die.

In Yuppy Ducks he just had some pests in his feathers, but no one said anything about dying.
