haunting. This episode has stayed with me for years. Just one of the things I loved about this series. One week it would be silly. The next week it would be action-packed. And just when you had it figured out, they would throw in an episode like this that turned everything on its ear. Every time I watch an episode of Due South, I say "why did they ever take this show off the air?" Paul Gross is awesome and is surrounded by a superb cast.
CBS has made some bone-headed moves in the past decade (thanks, Les Moonves) and this was one of the obvious big mistakes (Jericho is the latest in a continuing mis-direction of resources). If it doesn't fit our current reality show/cops digging around corpses/psychics tracking down murderers/smutty joke comedies, then we're not interested. Due South was class and you actually had to be semi-intelligent to get some of the jokes and dialogue (what is it, boy? Is Fraser in trouble?). Lowest common denominator doesn't appreciate this show.moreless
