Along the way, they meet a young girl named Charolette who is being harassed by a bunch of thugs. After saving her, Shobu meets up with an old rival, Jamira! Strangely, he's playing Darkness Cards instead of his usual Deck, and the reason is revealed very quickly, he accidentally swiped Kokujo's Deck! He challenges Shobu to his duel, and Shobu accepts. But, just then, a bird swoops down, grabs Hakuoh's hair, and pulls it off! It's a wig! As the episode begins, Mimi, Sayuki, and Rakudah are hanging out at the card shop, when they get a call from Shobu! He's already won 40 tokens, and that means he only needs 10 more to duel Hakuoh! And as the day ends, Shobu goes to bed, feeling great about himself.''''Meanwhile, Mimi and the others sneak over to the temple, but the guards are in front of the gate! Suddenly, Mimi distracts the others, and punches a hole in the wall! The others turn around, and she quickly pretends that the wall just collapsed. With that, the group sneaks inside.''''But as the group is walking, they spot someone lying on the floor. It's Shobu! As they get to him, they spot a graph of his deck plastered on the wall, and his entire history in a notebook on the floor! Other duelists show up, and start mocking Shobu, telling the others that they were bound to notice him at some point, and now they know how to defeat him inside and out! As a matter of fact, Shobu only has 3 tokens left! Suddenly, Mimi gets really mad, and starts demanding answers about what happened. Fritz the goblin starts to recognize her, but she cuts him off, and they drag him to another room. There, he reveals that the temple is just a set-up to prevent Hakuoh from falling in rank. At that moment, Shobu wakes up, and decides that he?s still going to duel. But he is still defeated two more times, and now he only has 1 token. Suddenly, Mimi runs into him from behind, and their decks are mixed! Mimi quickly puts them back together, but as Shobu looks through his deck, he notices that Mimi added some cards! He starts to get mad, but Mimi reminds him that this is what his father would have done in this position. And, sure enough, at his next duel, he uses one of the cards Mimi gave him, an evolution card for Brawler Zyler, and wins the match! And so it continues, until Shobu has finally gathered 50 tokens, and is given the key to the upstairs rooms. Look out, Hakuoh, because Shobu's coming!moreless - Ep 10A Goblin Shall Lead Them5/8/04
Shobu and his friends go to this new center where Kids all over the world learn how to play Duel masters. Shobu is ready to duel Hakuoh, but Knight tells him to be patient. Shobu runs off, and finds a mysterious man who tell him where to find Hakuoh, The Temple. He gives him this mysterious card and the man dissapears. knight warns him not to go to the Temple, for he is not ready. SHobu goes to the temple with his friends, and stumble across a goblin, who they think is a squirrel at first. He gaurds the temple and loves Kareoke. He reveales his name is Fritz. Anyway Shobu has to answer 3 questions about his deck to enter the temple. First Question One: When you play a card from your sheild zone, and you don't play it's mana cost, what is this trigger card. Of Course, Shobu knows it is a sheild trigger and gets it right. He also gets his 2nd question right! When the 3rd question is asked Shobu is stumpped. He is being stubborn and will not let anyone else help him. Luckily he figures it out with 2 seconds left to go. Shobu gets to enter the temple yet his friends have to stay behind. Fritz leads him into the temple. Shobu is given One token and is told that whenever he wins a duel he shall receive a token, and if you lose you lose a token but if you run out you are expelled from the Temple and he will never be able to enter again and he would never be able to duel Hakuoh. As our story begins, Shobu Kirafuda is marveling over how big of a duel master he will be when he grows up at the game of Duel Masters, when his best friend Rakudah's father calls over the hill that the DM Tournament has started, and that if they don't get there quickly, they will be disqualified. At this, Shobu freaks out, and starts running towards the stadium. But, as he's running, he notices a man with long black hair, sunglasses, and a sports car staring at him. But he shakes the weird feeling off, and keeps running. ''As the tournament continues, Shobu has just defeated his last opponent, and is moving on to the finals against Joe. But when the match arrives, it is revealed among Shobu's friends that Joe has cheated and switched decks! But despite this, Shobu still manages to defeat him, and win the tournament.''After the tournament, Shobu is congratulating himself on his win, when the black-haired man walks up to him, and is introduced as Knight. He congratulates Shobu on winning the tournament, and asks him if he wants to duel him at the center the next day. Shobu, at first, takes this in as a big joke, but after some taunting, he agrees.''The next day, Shobu arrives at the center, and Rakudah immediately takes notice of all of Knight's trophies. "You must be the greatest Kaijudo Master in the world!" he remarks, and Knight just shrugs it off, and starts the game.''Shobu is immediately cocky, but Knight warns him not to be, as he's never really played a real duel before. And it shows, as Shobu is repeatedly knocked down by Knight's attacks, until he has only 1 shield left! Sinking into dispair, Shobu is about to quit, when he remembers something his father once said to him. "Believe in yourself, and you'll always win." Shobu then decides not to quit, and starts to hold his own against Knight. But in the end, Knight defeats Shobu with the "Holy Awe" Light Card. ''Outside, Shobu is depressed, thinking that he can't go home again. Rakudah tries to cheer him up, saying that it's not really a big deal that he lost one game. But when he gets home, his mom finds out, and Shobu loses the bet they made, that if Shobu lost even one duel, he had to do whatever his mom wanted for a whole day!moreless - Ep 1The Good, the Bad, and the Bolshack2/27/04
