      ADD QUOTES
      • Shobu: Doctor Root? Who's that? Boy George: My mechanical master and babysitter. Shobu: What? Are you trying to tell me this metallic guy tucks you in at night? Boy George: And his hands are always freezing! Shobu: Whoa, too much information!

      • Knight: (thinking) Man, I'm way out of shape. Note to self: Pay late fee on gym membership.

      • Rekuta's father(during Shobu's story): I'm looking at a picture of my son and his friends. Is it a sign? Rekuta's father(interrupting the story): I don't remember saying that. Shobu: It's my story. Rekuta's father: But I don't remember saying that! It's a paradox.

      • Shobu: Stealing the name of a hit show for your cards? That's almost as bad as making a TV show from a popular card game with... never mind.

      • Rekuta's dad: But you can't be dead. You're standing right in front of me, unless you're a zombie. Shobu: I'm not a zombie. Rekuta's dad: Are you sure? Shobu: Yes! What do I have to do to prove it? Not eat a brain.

      • Shobu's Mom- I dropped Shobu's cup and it broke in slow motion! It must be a sign!

    • NOTES (5)

      ADD NOTES
      • When Shobu was talking about when he said something about ripping off someone's popular TV show for the Survivor cards, I think he meant the TV show "Survivor" in which two teams compete on an island.

      • Re: True, the card game is based on Magic: The Gathering, but the show is loosely based on Yu-Gi-Oh!

      • Rekuta's dad refers to something Shobu says he said as a paradox. In this case, it was used to mean: A seemingly contradictory statement that may nonetheless be true.

      • "This is a reference to Yu-Gi-Oh! as this is what the show is loosely based on." Actually, Duel Masters is based on Magic: The Gathering.

      • First appearance of Survivor cards.

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      ADD ALLUSIONS
      • None: Episode Title
The title of this episode is a parody on the book "Something Wicked This Way Comes" by Ray Bradbury.

      • Reference: Shobu: That's almost as low as copying a popular show and renaming it and throwing in similar characters. Um, never mind. This is a reference to Yu-Gi-Oh! as this is what the show is loosely based on.
