    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • James Best (Rosco) has said that this episode, and the sixth season's "Too Many Roscos" are his favorite episodes of the series.

    • QUOTES (1)

    • NOTES (4)

      • Alan Autry, billed here under his real name of Carlos Brown, would later go onto become Mayor of Fresno, California. He would return in the final season's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Duke.

      • Jason Steele, played by William Smith, is cited by many Dukes fans as being their favorite villain of the series.

      • The green jacket Rosco buys in this episode is later worn by the Russian bad guy in Hazzard in Hollywood during the scene at the disco.

      • As reflected in the production code, this two-hour / two-part story was the first to be produced in the fourth season. (It's maybe surprising that they didn't use it to open the season, as season two's two-hour / two-part Carnival Of Thrills was held over to do at the start of the third season.)
